- Absolutely loving all the tyrannosaur species #PNSO is giving us!! Their #Zhuchengtyrannus is a fantastic model. Finally I can justify their $42 price point. It’s worth every penny. It’s big and bulky and sculpted in a dynamic walking pose. Looks great posed next to their Sinoceratops. Another great addition to your #dinosaur collection.

your sense of humour has grown a ton, it makes watching your reviews a helluva lot more enjoyable!
it’s funny I’ve been obsessed with dinosaurs ever since childhood. Never didn’t love them. And now at 42 👴🏻 I finally decided to buy my first actual adult collectible figure. The pnso kronosaurus. Pnso for the price and quality is just perfect for someone like me. They sculpt some really lesser known species even!
I’ve been watching your reviews for awhile now. This one here may be my second purchase. It’s just spectacularly frightening
To me this feels like PNSO’s way of releasing another T. rex without any backlash, because the proportions are so similar you can barley tell it’s supposed to be another species. Still though, it’s a very nicely made figure. As far as the new paper goes, pretty much every paleontologist I’ve heard from doesn’t agree with it, especially tyrannosaur experts. The paper basically created three new species that won’t ever be used in any literature.
Zhuchengtyrannus was a natural enemy of Sinoceratops 😃. Thank you for reviewing this figure, Dino Scream 😊.
This review of Lu Xiong the Zhuchengtyrannus from PNSO was pretty epic, and I love it alot
My favorite theropod from them so far! he looks gorgeous next to the sinoceratops and I can’t wait for the Tsintaosaurus
God it looks fucking amazing
Keep it up!❤👌👍
Godly. Tyrannosaur. Figure.
Hello, Late to the party.
I love this figure. For a mass production
the paint application is well done.
Got to have a base for these bi-peds.
I make my own for max stability.
It adds to the overall display in my opinion.
Great review! I immediately ordered him and i cant wait to get him! I think im going to use him as T.rex while winter wilson will be T.regina or T.imperator. The holotype specimen looks pretty close to lu xiong so i think it will be a great pair with there Doyle the triceratops! It also reminds me of the mount at the museum of natural history in LA where the t rex is attacking the triceratops. Also do you mind if i use your picture of Lu xiong in the backdrop for a instagram post?
Sure thing you can use it for Instagram. Just tag my account.
@@DinoScreamReviews appreciate it! And of course
4:05 Oh my God, I can't believe people didn't know this... Like, it was sooooo obvious and easy to observe
how many times do we have to say it 🙄 how simple can paleontology get
They did make that hadrosaur you talked about.
I only have Winter Wilson but I think I need this one in my Tyrannosaur collection. That article you read was comedy by the way, "duh" ha ha
I mean come on it’s obviously the lateral surface of the ascending process and the rounded notch in the anterior margin of the maxillary fenestra that makes Zhuchengtyrannus unique. It was staring us in the face the whole time!!
@@DinoScreamReviews Glad YOU said it so I didn't have to LMAO
Word of warning, the Tsintaosaurus is only as big as the Olorotitan, I thought it would be as big as the Para but then I saw another review of it and my heart sunk lol
when do you think that the acro will release?
Should be soon. There was a leaked list of figures and everything has been revealed except Acro and Sinraptor.
Don't you think the Tyrannosaur looks so much like the images from the DK Dinosaur books with the blackish texture and purple/pinkish tint on the snout? For me, it looks so much like those famous images !
How long does shipping from Ali express usually take? I'd absolutely love to pick this guy up
It’s averages for me 2-3 weeks. Sometimes well over a month in rarer cases.
@@DinoScreamReviews Oh perfect, thank you! Was on the fence about this guy, your stellar review convinced me I needed him.
Not bad
Nice review and it's a very good figure, although I feel Zhuchengtyrannus is too fragmentary to make a figure out of it. Question: when you said Wilson is still the best "Tyrannosaur" on the market, did you mean best Tyrannosaurus (Rex/Regina/Imperator/whatever) or Tyrannosaur (including Tarbosaurus, Zhuchengtyrannus and others)?
I meant best Tyrannosaurus rex figure. That is until eofauna releases theirs…
@@DinoScreamReviews yeah there's a lot to look forward to when it comes to T.Rex/Imperator/Regina figures. Don't forget Rebor's Kiss & Tusk figures as well. And GR Toys is going to release a T. Rex as well I thought.
To me, Wilson is still PNSO's best Tyrannosaur though. The overall proportions and better paint make up for the oversized scales.
ALL the same thing. New names = new funding full stop.
@@ronniepatterson2827 I wouldn't say that Tarbosaurus and Zhuchentyrannus are the same thing as Tyrannosaurus Rex/Regina/Imperator.
Agreed. The Taborosaurus especially.@@srfschulein
I personally think PNSO should abandon the museum line and have all of their animals in the Prehistoric animals line since that’s what the museum line figures are now just with slightly more paint apps. Also I am all for Caroline becoming a meme I had to sell mine just cuz it couldn’t stop falling.
Personally i dont mind thr museum line, i know most people dont like the posters and all that but they could use good references for me, and you actually didn’t have to sell your Caroline, you could have put two courters under Caroline’s right feet
@@paleostories_7839 I try not to have figures in my collection that either don’t stand up well or I don’t love. That figure I wasn’t that into anyway so it’s fine. As for the Museum line issue my problem is that the quality isn’t much higher than the Regular line so I don’t feel it quite justifies the almost $20 difference unless it’s the older ones with the dioramas. I still get them though cuz they gorgeous
@@bryannedelgado6479 totally agree!
Hope they do an updated feathered tyrannosaurus rex
Why? Tyrannosaurus was not feathered, and if it was it was very minimally feathered
To be honest not dinosaur was feathered
@@cosminbryant1243 have you been smoking
@@victorsztorc511 ha no😂😂
all carcharodnotosaurid/carnosaur was not feather lolol
So another grant was needed, & yet another T- rex gets a brand new name? lmao What was the big difference in this "new" T- rex you say? An ingrown tooth or something?
Molto somigliante al t-rex anzi questo è pure fatto meglio
