Hey Chase, Im the Morgott cosplay, you've taught me the ways of the boiled crab, and my meme cosplay builds have become so much more viable since! Especially watching you play and learning more about timing and spacing, awesome duel even though you shredded me lol, and great vid as always! If I had to pick a showcase weapon, Reduvia, Ive seen others play around with daggers but I dont know how to ever go about using them in duels myself

i was talking bout you on my comments hehe, very good cosplay man, and you actually have good playstyle too. yesterdays episode, i saw some comments about daggers too, chase would probably do bullgoat gear if he showcase a dagger, since dagger is so bad for poise and trade. fun fight man.

Watching one of these weapon showcases after a long stressful day has become a daily routine for me, almost therapeutic! I wish more people in the gaming community were as chill and nice as Chase. We've got enough toxicity in life as it is.

I love the souls series and love Elden ring. but the PVP community can be so toxic. And likes to gate keep what is fun. And God forbid you casually play this game. So it is so refreshing to see Chase play. even though this game is an unbalanced mess he doesn't complain. He just has fun with it. And he isn't ass to people just playing the game with friends.

Big thumbs up to the open world invasions! It's really fun watching you hunt out in the open with random unknown npcs getting mixed into the fights.
definitely, I have never seen that snowfield look so interesting, I guess I was too scared when I ran through and missed stuff, the open world invasions make this game really shine
Lightning that nearly nuked the Blue was from one of the Will o' Wisps that are in the snow field or semi flooded area below Nokron. Get to close and they go off and hit hard.
I love Marais. I wish the Regalia of Eochaid was as impactful. Obligatory Alabaster Lord's Sword request.
Chase should make a playlist titled "Trying to land ashes of war" for weapons with good but difficult to land ashes. These episodes are always the most fun! :)

Fun fact: hero, the class with high str and arcane, has enough dex for this weapon with millicents prosthesis which you already want to use. Just food for thought
recently went from pure strength to strength/arcane with my hero and shit has been mad fun. kind of wish there were more weapons/spells like the ash of war unless I overlooked some stuff
Can you try Rogier’s Rapier next? It’s got a unique R2 double thrust that comes out incredibly fast. It makes an interesting pair with RKR or Determination for the double proc
Haven't played Elden Ring in a couple months now and I'm getting burned on the content, with the exception of Chase. Love the showcases. Great Stars sometime soon please.

what an episode, the morgot cosplay was really good, and the incantation guy, and the last invasion was really fun to watch, that rivers of blue guy, fallen from the same trap 3 times hahaha. veeeery fun fight.
I recommend the shamshir curved sword. The unique moveset is awesome to use two handed and allows roll catching to feel more like ds3.
I prefer to use it with endure or double slash.

you have good hyperarmor with the AOW so with the poise physik and some good armor you actually just trade with this weapon, bait them into any attack and youll stunlock kill em dead every time, just tap the L2 tho otherwise its too slow

21:38 In the area where you've been fighting are whisps that look like ball lightnings. When aggroed, they'll self-destruct while firing off 6 or 7 highly damaging salvos of lightning. Basically the same enemy as in Siofra River

Coincidentally just today I was watching that cricket bat in my inventory and checked some info on it and it seemed nice. So I upgraded it to +9 and took it for a spin. Very interesting AoW there. The range is short and yes can be dodged but man when it connects it's pretty much game over. That spinning projection of the sword...sorry, cricket bat...is freaking amazing. Pity the range wasn't longer though.

Some great duels today! Love to see duelists make Chase break a sweat, lol. Also I'm happy to see some love for the Crucible Breath incantation from that one guy, it's so slept on but I love it. With the Roar talisman it can totally stunlock and melt people's health after a knockdown.
Lol I just commented you should do this sword in your last video, and here it is, the Marais! Such a good sword, although the Godfrey talisman is pretty nice to have too, if you can squeeze it in

Hey Chase! You should consider using spinning weapon AOW for weapons that support it. Paired with insignia and Alexander's shard, it does tons of damage

Oh! And I just found my Lazuli Glintstone Sword! I got it on my *second* attempt from the three wizards in the stairs with the troll knight. AND, when i killed the troll, he also dropped the Troll Knight's Sword as well! ;D I'd like to see what you can do with those, or maybe the Carian Knight's sword.
Lastly, thank _you,_ for this wonderful series! It's the only "show" I eagerly await, and a highpoint of the day!

I had no idea the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia could stack with Millicent's Prosthesis. I always assumed they couldn't, so I never attempted to equip them both.

The marais executioner’s ash is like the stormhawk axe, when you catch someone in it they are stuck taking it. So good🤙 the stormhawk axe would be a good showcase episode

this is SO trippy. Did a very similar build earlier and had the EXACT same armor.. so weird
You should try star fist with blood flame and beasts roar for the AOW. The blood flame affect gets applied to the AOW so it makes it really easy to punish passive players

Chase you should review the Carian knights sword it has a unique r2 that has blocking frames and if you land a trade with the axe talisman it does good damage and can catch people off guard. And it has a decent art of war.
would the ghiza wheel be boosted by the same successive attack bonuses as this because if so that would be wild

Day in and day out Chase keeping it classy. I have no patience that running host at the last invasion would've caught nothing but curse words for making me run around so obnoxiously. "Haha Fun fight!" Chase exclaims at the end. I don't know what happy juice ChaseTheBro is on but I'll have what he's having.
that juice is maple syrup. Chase is from the great white north. They run on maple syrup and snowcones.
Hey chase if your using this on a dedicated build just put the point in dex and switch the prosthesis talisman for Godfrey icon and provided you charge it you can get up to a %15-20 dmg boost
I thought of an awesome cosplay idea, many of you probably won't know the reference tho, it's from the original Conan the Barbarian from the 80's. Thulsa Doom, the snake sorcerer villain. The right hair exists, can match the skin tone and face, and with the Preceptor outfit, Serpent Bow and Arrows, Dragon Incantations, and a sword the cosplay would be spot on. Could do the buff dude with the massive great hammer that gets the spike booby trap as well.
Been looking forward to this one. Also love the cloaks on the outfit.

A similar build can be used for Briar Greathsield, Spiked Palisade Shield or Fingerprint. One of the with Shield Crash and bleed affinity hits even harder than NG+7 Hodrick.

I think there is a straight sword with a heavy attack that also has block frames. It would be interesting to see you showcase that. 🤔
Drills are always fun, Guren Lagann is a great example of that. With Marais Executioner’s Greatsword, you too can become the drill that will pierce the heavens. I pierce the heavens with my Partizan.

@@kartikayysola yes it does! And the pebble is more favorable for pvp than carian grandeur! Landing a carian grandeur in pvp is quite the achievement though
@@chewiewalkzzz I'm running a STR/INT build right now so this is good to know! Having a solid side weapon would be very nice (using a cold claymore right now, eventually gonna get the DMGS).
If you want another fun multi hitting weapon art, as well as a great meme, try the pizza cutter. Works well with dragonbolt blessing to poise through light attacks!
I found a good way to land the ash of war is to intentionally miss a running attack then when they go to punish you trade for the uncharged special if you got the poise it should be fairly consistent
p.s. make sure to grab the thorny cracked tear for extra consecutive damage

I know you've done a lotta greatswords lately, but I wanna see the flamberge. Specifically, see how good it does on an occult build, possibly also with some incantations casted with the dragon communion seal
How willing are you to try out different builds for weapon showcases? I heard that the great stars with bloodflame blade and the eruption AOW is pretty sploinky, but idk if you feel like either locking into a str/fai/arc build for a whole vid or using a larval tear halfway through 🤔
Just beat the game with this as my god-slaying weapon + dragon communion incants. It was an absolute blast. Godfrey Icon was great with it as well(probably better for PvE or invasions tho).

I believe you can get even more damage out of it with the Godfrey icon in place of erdtree favor as it is technically a charged skill
That's what I do when running the straight sword variant since it's a little weaker at least, works out great
