A pre madness Vyke could be pretty cool, could use a partizan with the storm assault skill and some dragon cult lightning spells. The armor could be a pick between the full knight set, knight helm with the vagabond armor, or regular old Vyke armor. I think it would be pretty cool since you don't typically see regular Vyke being cosplayed plus you'd get to use the cool red lightning spells

I just wish he made one, from the various Banished Knights in the game as well. Next to the OG Tree Sentinel from Limgrave, the Banished Knights are my boys, and imho... best-looking! As for the Banished Knight build itself (essentially a strength build at its core)... always brings a smile to my face! :D

Did you know that putting Bernahl to sleep breaks his AI? It's the only way I've found to defeat him easily; you just have to have a weapon that can apply sleep. I would recommend using the St. Trina's torch, as it can apply sleep with its weapon art.

I've been playing a slightly faith-tinged quality build that uses only quality-scaling somber weapons and it's been pretty interesting. I find I have a really effective tool for just about any situation and some surprising sustainability. Been doing this at RL 100, so it'd probably be even more fun at 120+
In case you didn’t know, you can sleep bernal and a lot of other npc summons and they’ll be just standing there doing nothing for quite a while so yeah, use sleep pots
@ChaseTheBro I want a random parry build. Not centered around parrying but, a random parry to those over zealous attackers would be awesome. Because parries are not as easy as before and it requires some better placed timing. Perfect for an experienced invader. I think it would be one of the scariest builds because you never know when it's going to happen. Just a thought.

I personally think the greatsword class has an excellent 1 Hand roll catch: (r1 to a quick r2). It's so satisfying to roll catch with it.

Chase, Miyazaki saw how you dismantled Horus from DS3 over and over, and thus, Bernahl was born in Elden Ring as the Horus 2.0
This is a situation where St Trina’s Torch would actually be needed. Sleep bugs out NPCs like Bernahl and they sleep for an entire minute.
