I was driving in normal mode with traction and stability control off by holding traction control button
From a dead stop no brakes I smashed it and was spinning really nice and starting to accelerate fast and then all the sudden it felt like I had NO power period like it died until I let off the gas for a second then everything returned to normal no CEL any clues
As a 5.7 owner, I definitely have that feeling to want to be able to run with hellcats. Congrats on the build! Great things are to come. It's crazy how you're leading this movement now.

So I’ve been with you for a while, back when you were looking at edelbrock superchargers. I did it! All in I’m about 15 grand Canadian a little more than I wanted to spend but it’s done and for all of you guys that are thinking about going this route don’t just use the tune from edelbrock. I was making about 40 hp over stock. I was soooo disappointed to say the least. My buddy talked me into getting it tuned and that’s the secret. Completely stock except for shorty headers and cooler plugs... 463 hp and 487 lbs and man it moves now. Tuner said he could get over 500hp easy but because it’s my daily he kept all settling down. Going to do bottomend at 100000 miles and up the boost when it’s time to do maintenance on the supercharger. Should say it’s a 5.7 and a m6 car

I also though of just swapping in a 392 but I did some research and saw how those motors dont really like boost!! U went the right way. And our 8 speed trans can handle a lot of power! Maybe need a converter and a better rear end but that about it! Good job man keep moving forward!👍🏼🤘

It has been great seeing how far this machine has come. I still remember the selection of shorty headers to then upgrade to long tubes. Keep growing and showing what these 5.7s are capable of.

R/T Life yes! Just depends what you do to them. I have a 2010 CTS-V Sedan. It’s been in the shop for 2 months. It is supposed to finally be done late this week. Port polished lsa, cammed, e85 😉. Shooting for 750rwhp. The fiancé has a 2015 Jeep Granc Cherokee 5.7 AWD. I have been looking at Ripp supercharger kits for over a year now. Just haven’t pulled the trigger. Dumped 10k into my car or else our hemi would be charged too.
All u have to do is motivate yourself to make more money or take ur time with the hemi

those are some awesome numbers I can't wait to see you with it on the streets! since the last time I had spoken to you I went on some of your recommendations and I had my cats deleted and running through Flowmasters only, resonators deleted, cold air intake, throttle body spacer, and a Diablo I3 tuner. Have not had a chance to do the tuner yet but with the cold air intake and throttle body spacer I just drove from Mobile Alabama to Orlando Florida with it in V8 all the way and got 24.6 miles to the gallon at 80 miles an hour. My next step is the jba long tube headers then get the custom tune. Your videos have really been helpful and have shared a lot of information with all of us.

I was very fortunate to have owned a manual Scatpack Challenger and now a Hellcat which I love. I still miss my Scat, so I know the feelings you have for your blue beauty.
I missed the video where some of the Mopar community was taking mess to you, and can’t believe someone will disrespect another Mopar brother that way. That’s a no no in my book. A man can drive a 3 cylinder n if that is his best upgrade from what he previously had, then I would be happy for that person but I would never put someone down for what they drive.

I dig the Performance CAM option, CAI and adding long tube headers, High flow CATs, and finish up with a good tune. I hope to finish my build by summer 2021.

I just put a deposit yesterday on a pretty basic 2020 black manual hellcat at my local dealer.. Sticker is $62,440, with $7170 off due to 10bucks per hp off for holiday manufacturer rebates.. I'm getting the car tuesday for $55,000 even with tax & doc fees.. It so cheap to buy a hellcat right now its crazy.. Im not going to mod mine at all other than some fat sticky rubber, and enjoy banging gears in the manual on sunny days, and stare at it in the garage all week.!!
Ted is doing the 397 build on my B5 2009 challenger rt now, with plans to go force air later. Let me know if you want to document it. Ted is the best.

My N/A 6.0 LS powered G8 HCI gears FBO did 442 hp and 413tq. And runs 11.90 at 117. Stock stall with a 1.6 sixty ft.

So I was a bit upset at the numbers but then I heard why it was tuned that way and then it made sense. Seeing that forced air in the 345 is at 550 I'm good staying in that range. Honestly I want a 500hp car, I'll do it with this one.

Can’t complain I guess, slightly better than a stock 392. Once the drivetrain gets beefed up, should be able to lay down 700-800 with boost.
On this dyno a stock 392 is around 420 in whp/torque - so almost +30whp is noticeable

I'm doing this exact same thing to my 2012 300, except I'm going with a twin screw supercharger, 3.09 rear diff, and a 8hp90 transmission.
Btw, a good rule of thumb, whatever your NA hp is, if you add 14.7 psi (1 atmosphere) you will approximately double that number. A little less for superchargers as there not as efficient as turbos, but this can provide a good baseline to make sure your engine is running efficiently. If you push 14.7psi and don't get anywhere close to double, something is wrong, timing, compression, etc. Also with forged internals and good seals, you should be able to push well into the 20's psi, these engines are not nearly as weak as most people believe them to be when it comes to boost. I've seen stock 5.7s reliably handling 18psi.

for reference , powernation installed Edelbrock supercharger on their 5.7 L hemi complete with smaller pulley fir higher boost. professionally installed professionally and tuned by Peitz performance in Houston and your NA biuld made more HP than their Roots blower build!

I have a 6.1 based 397 stroker running D1SC procharger @ 15psi, never done a dyno pull, but she will scare the crap out of you, car pins you in the seat.

Make sure you get drag radials, street tires are are garbage. I can still spin the Mickey Thompson ET Streets in 2nd gear /sometimes 3rd depending on RPM

I have a 09 Challenger 6spd. With a 2.8 Kennybell on only 8pounds of boost on E85 and she makes 541. Not bad !!

A full bolt on 392 was on that dyno, long tubes, mids, hellcat throttlebody, intake, tune & got 445whp/440ft-lbs . So this thing is doing well for a forced air engine with no forced air.
