On a 5.7? You would also have to get a forged cranks along with the drop in pistons and rods to get the full potential out of the Whipple. That set up will give you plenty of power as you can crank up the boost. Guessing, well into the 600s if you want it to. 💪
@@6spd85notch demon hood and supercharger aren’t comparable, the procharger is facing and sucking air from around the driver side header , 180+ degrees vs ambient air . Done the tests if you can pull all the air from outside of the engine bay your it will keep the entering air at the blower cooler along with keeping the headunit cooler as well.
we have the exact same car and it’s lowered to same mine just lowered another inch or 2 what kind of suspension set up you running I haven’t had a alignment in like 2 years 😂

iv got a 2022 chrysler 300s 5.7 with a procharger and every single tuneing shop I call keep telling me if i got over 550whp which is what i have currently that I'll blow my engine or my pistons will give out
Historically that is false. There are several 5.7s out there in the past making way more than that and surviving over a year. Mine is one, Incredible Hemi when he had his, and Mopar Motorsports (Frostbite Ram) just blew his after several years making over 700+. Shops just want your money. 😉

I have 39 1/2 lbs injectors currently and increased the voltage on the fuel pump. you think i can get to 600hp with what I have currently and run it safely with the proper tune or will i need upgrades?
@@nameless9622 I would upgrade fueling. One thing you don’t want to run out of. 8lbs you’ll definitely be safe. I ran mine 10-12 for over a year. I’d say 650-700 and you’re safe but there’s never a guarantee.

Were you able to find out how much average horsepower the car is making? That's going to determine how quick the car is in the quarter mile. A centrifugal supercharger will make a relatively high peal horsepower number due to the rising boost curve. The 6.4 makes excellent low and midrange power. Add nitrous and the horsepower increase from it is almost instantaneous. I hate to tell you this Don. You will probably lose the race and have the runner up sticker for the year. When does Capitol Raceway open?
And im glad you get it, be cool to see what happens. My goals low 600s.. so.. we'll see how it all relates when it goes down. Around the end of March is the plan. Need to finish up my NA testing and then ill toss the set up on and we'll do it.

Yeah, the 18% added quite a bit that's for sure! It's well worth the $400 or so for one. I gained about 5-6lbs of boost. 💪💪💪

You’ll increase the boost but the tune will be whack pcm can only make small adjusts

Yes, stock internals other than a cam. The HP70 can hold around 650 lb/ft of torque before it starts slipping. 💪

Pretty sure Nitrous will not help with cooling but some meth injection definitely will! That's on the table of future modifications. 😉

Prior to the 18% we were seeing, in good weather, around 10lbs of boost and with the 18% we are seeing just under 16lbs.
