Ok everyone says that Giorno should have shown up in the end of part 6 but we all know every problem in part 6 would be solved if Polnareff turtle was brought with Jotaro.
@@DirtyMonkeyIndeed no he is a turtle, see the legs of Coco Jumbo are smaller and “squishier”-looking, since tortoises are primarily built for land they have thicker flatter feet, Coco Jumbo has the kind adapted for swimming.
@@corrinflakes9659 No. It literally doesn't. Turtles are the swimmers, tortoises are land based. Coco Jumbo is a tortoise. It does NOT have the flatter feet you are talking about. Lmao, how did you manage to confuse everything up is kinda amazing though.
What I thought would've made a lot of sense is that they happened at roughly the same time I think this is how it should've been portrayed but that's just me and yes ik 5 and 6 are 10 years apart but I think that was a mistake
This is why I love part 6. It's got many philosophical concepts you can delve into, and videos like these make the patterns Araki intended throughout the parts even clearer. Great work!
Very nice Analysis! I hope you can read the manga for part 7 (because its gonna be YEARS before we get an anime adaptation for it, i am sure) and make an analysis on it because its one of the most high rated mangas in japan, and IMO Araki's magnum opus
Also araki was going to write giorno as a female at first but got criticized from editors I think that’s also why they have a lot in common, jolyne is who giorno could’ve been tbh
This is the best analytical JoJo video on RUclips. To get the one thing I really liked about it was the use of the english dub. I'm glad there are people who like it. Now, onto my comment, gushing over this: I love how you incorporated actual Christian teachings into the analysis of Pucci and gave the perfect explanation to why gravity was such a central point in this story. But the best part of this? You made sense of why Vento Aureo and Stone Ocean were written the way they were. I normally dislike duologies due to a feeling of incompleteness, but your analysis helped me understand and appreciate these stories as a thematic duology, separate in character and location, but strung together by the gravity of fate.
@@taylorv9739 I don't know how that applies? He doesn't act or talk like a Joestar there is very little time with Jesus in part 7 to really make a judgement on that. And he doesn't look like one either cause he doesn't have the Joestar birthmark. He's just a random powerful stand user, not a joestar
@@casualcasualty3610 Well, calling him random is... kinda missing the point? Jesus doesn't show up a lot, but his presence is always felt. If you read the part, you know why
I would never call stone ocean a "sequel" to golden wind. I guess technically it is, but they are two completely separate stories with no connection. The only thing connection those parts is the connection to Dio that characters have and the Jotaro appearing in them both. What's worse is that when Pucci coincidentally runs into Dio's sons he just so happens to NOT meet Giorno, the most important one. Not saying he should appear in the end and solve all the problems with the reset, but given the story we were shown he should've appeared at least. Make him have some sort of role in that "Dio's sons arc". How can you have an arc with Dio's sons where the most important son doesn't appear? It's just weird, and saying that Giorno's fate was different or that he already completed his goals is just an excuse, and not such a good one.
@@BeyondAnimation well With the context of the video and the title i expected the spoilers to be about parts 5 and 6 En there was no spoiler warning for that perticular part 7 spoiler It came quite out of the blue
Just watched the video good stuff! I got more of part 5 and 6 connection that i had in mind: -Part 5 introduced the theme of resolve, being that people are ready for what is about to come. Sleeping slaves concluded that the characters of part 5 despite knowing the hardness and grief that is about to happen(predestined) they still move. Part 6 continued the "resolve theme" on puccis Idea of Heaven which was based on "resolution". And i think this was a kind of cool connection since both giorno and pucci are related to dio in a way, and they strive off the idea of resolve or resolution. Except puccis idea of resolution was too extreme, and far more selfish. -Sleeping slaves arc also introduced us explicitly that it is impossible to escape fate, they are all slaves to fate. In part 6 this was further exemplified. I think it wasnt in the anime, but in the manga it was explained more that "Although it is said that humans can shape their own destiny, perhaps that reshaping of destiny is already predestined" i.imgur.com/bgYIxP9.png
Part 6 was overall lame. Every jojo did something fantastic except jolyne. Josuke instant revived someone and giorno had requiem. Jonathan took down a powerful vampire and jotaro has time stop. Jolyne did nothing memorable.
You say all this as if Jolyne didn’t 1) figure out and adapt to stands late in her life on the fly, while fully incarcerated no less, as opposed to the other Jojo’s who either had help to understand stands or grew up with it 2) handcuff herself to the main villain 3) purposely set herself on fire for, like, half an episode to *avoid* a stand attack 4) figure out the möbius strip counter against C-moon on the fly, etc. Also to respond to that other comment you made, Josuke needed Jotaro and co’s help to defeat Kira and Giorno needed Bucciarati and co’s help to get Requiem, so don’t pretend like this is a “Jolyne-only” thing.
@Lchap0 literally every jojo figures out their opponent so how is this special for jolyne? Josuke also had no mentor and knew how to use crazy diamond. Yes jotaro helped, what's your point? How is pointing out something jolyne needed help with make her spectacular? None of those things you mentioned are spectacular, josuke literally revived someone in an instant after they were blown to pieces. Respond to what? You want me to respond to a comment that pretends it's a spectacular feat when it isn't? You realize I'm talking about awesome moments so how is mentioning a fight where she was about to die one of those moments? Can you even read?
