Vegan Coffee & Walnut Cake: ruclips.net/video/8pjsbKQDDj4/видео.html Recipe notes and tips: - For the crackerfication of the gluten free fail, I think I’ll take a few pictures as I’m doing it, and give you the details as a post on the community tab. I’m toying with the idea of using some of the Twiglet pasta chip coating on some of them (ruclips.net/video/cpeNSIwKjCc/видео.html) - I found banging the tins on the counter (on a tea towel) helped loosen the loaves without having to go in with a knife or similar; something that must be avoided with non-stick bakeware and pans! - If you need to avoid alcohol, lots of companies have alcohol-free beer available, or you could potentially try seltzer water. I haven’t tried it myself though, so I can’t say what the results will be - Variations ideas: Green olive & toasted pine nuts | black olive & sundried tomato | bacon & caramelised onions
Thanks Russell 😊 The cooking quite literally keeps my head straight; it's the only thing in my world that's completely under my control. Does that make sense? Like, if something goes wrong, I can fix it (or turn it into crackers 😂)
I've just searched using Edge (to make sure my Chrome history doesn't skew the results), and searching "rachel brownstein soft tacos" and "rachel brownstein jackfruit" brought them up. I don't think the video search function appears on my channel, and I've only seen it appear on a handful of others. Hopefully they'll roll this out more widely in the future!
Wheat flour forms gluten strands, which trap the gases produced by your leavening agent. Those gases simply escape from the gluten free loaf, leaving it flat. I tink there may be starches or gums that can substitute for gluten, but I don't know what they are.
Interesting, I'll look into that. I've used a gluten free bread flour from the same company (Freee From), perhaps I'll compare the ingredients. Thanks for the tip!
@@AuntieRachelsChaoticKitchen You're welcome! There is a channel called RoseRed Homestead who made a very good looking loaf of gluten free bread. I can't remember whether she used King Arthur brand, or developed her own blend. But it was a very impressive loaf.

Absolutely!! Cooking therapy works for me too! Xx
Have you tried Marmite spaghetti? X
I have ages ago, after seeing Nigella do it in one of her shows. I did like it, but it got samey really fast. A good snack I suppose
Hi Rachel! If you're looking for ideas, how about a vegan jackfruit tacos, or burrito s?
I've done pulled jackfruit, and tofu tacos already. Burritos might be worth a look for the future!
Gee, I looked for them, but couldn't find!!

You're going to want to look out for tomorrow's video ☺

The baker's dozen is thirteen items. So, am I correct in assuming that six loaves of beer bread is a six pack?
💯

😊
Great video, you still mad fine.
I’ve never had beer in any type of foods. Must be a European thing. I heard the Irish will do this.
It's great!
