My first time commenting on this channel. Just wanted to say these are very well made videos. The camera angles are great, easy to follow recipes, a soothing voice combined with the sounds of the background kitchen appliances and last but not least, the host is very easy on the eyes 😉 I wish you great success Rachel. Thanks for providing us with some budget friendly vegan recipes 🙂

    Recipe notes & tips:
    - Aquafaba is a really useful thing to keep ready for use in the freezer. I’ve used it to make things like chocolate mousse, and fat free pasta chips. I try to freeze mine in ice cube trays. That way, I can take however much I need without having to defrost a big block
    - If you find the mixture is sticking really badly when you roll your balls, you may need to add more flour. If it’s sticking, but not much, wetting your hands will definitely help
    - To go at a higher heat in the air fryer for faster cooking time, I may experiment with spraying/brushing the balls with water a couple times to stop the outside getting too crisp and dark

Looks delicious. I've seen people using stringed vegetables in place of spaghetti but I've yet to try it!

It doesn't give quite the same satiety as pasta, as I do love my carbs, but it gives a different feel to a dish and also provides even more nutrients

Thank you that looks really interesting. Do you think milled flax seed would work instead of chia as a binder?

Absolutely! I usually make a point of saying that, guess I forgot this time. I'll add a note to the ingredients list in the video description, thank you

Why the fixation with me breaking my morals to please other people? You keep asking me questions like this, and I've already answered.

That lion's mane might be good for tacos or tamales as well. Have you thought about making tamales some time?

I kind of did in one of the gluten free seitan videos; I put some of the mixture in corn husks as a trial (worked pretty well). I still have some left, but I'm not sure if they're still sturdy enough. If not, when I've got some spare cash, I'll get some new ones and put a video together for you. Thank you ☺ PS You've now got me thinking about Hot Tamales; the cinnamon candies. Now I'm sad I don't have any!

I was referring to the knife used to cut up the red onion.

Ah! It's a Cuisinart set I bought at Costco over 20 years ago. Think I paid around £40 for 7 kitchen knives, a steel, 8 steak knives, scissors and a wooden block, which is an absolute bargain to me as they're really well balanced in the hand

Is there a reason you use red onion? I prefer red ones and I find they make my eyes tear less than white ones when I chop them. Any scientific reason?

Loved the sardonic "enjoy a blurry shot of some onions in port" joke at 5:55. Way to make shicken spit into shicken salad.
If you enjoy a a creator's content, especially on an up and coming type of channel, please take some easy steps to help the creator grow. Of coarse direct financial support is the best way to help a creator grow but there are other ways to help a channel grow. With the click of a few buttons you can get the subscriber count up and hit the like button to improve the youtube algorythim metrics to help get the channel in more feeds and recommendations lists. Then further aid the cause by taking a minute to leave a kind thought in the comment section as video engagement is a factor in the mysterious algorythims as well. Just a string of mysterious emojis will do the trick. ⚜🦁🌷 Then maybe most importantly take an extra minute and sit through the ads instead of skipping through them to help a creator earn as much as they can for the work they do, including the ads at the end of the video.
