Vegan Soft Tacos: ruclips.net/video/uF_sqgspbyU/видео.html Recipe notes & tips: - The bean & veg mixture can be bulked up by adding a can of chopped tomatoes to make a great chili - If you don’t have tomato puree/paste for the beans, just add a can of chopped tomatoes/passata and cook it on a medium high heat until thickened and reduced - If your avocados aren’t the perfect ripeness, I wonder if heating them a little in the microwave would help soften them? If you have the time to wait, put them with bananas - You can wrap your burritos in foil to assist with keeping them together ( don’t use this method as the idea of swallowing a sharp sliver of foil freaks me out) - Toasting burritos is a great way of sealing them shut. Heat up a dry pan, and fry on each side for a few minutes until golden. You’ll want to squash them flat somewhat, to get maximum contact
Kia Ora Auntie… loving the recipes.. the burrito can be used as an alternative pizza base as well for vegetarian pizzas.. keep up the good work auntie!..
living in a desert for a job and staying away from good food for 2 yrs now, my god another tasty one, i might eat my laptop now lol. my superstar made fabulously yummy recipe again, i can bet on this
That's weird (to put it politely). My stats have been down for several weeks, I wonder if this is part of that? Really frustrating either way! I'm working my backside off 😔
I went to a great Mexican restaurant in Leeds years ago and it was so strong, it destroyed my sense of smell for a week. It was GREAT to eat but wow, blew my nasal passage throughout! What’s the strongest spiciest food you’ve cooked Rachel?
Can you remember the name? The only ones I know of are Pinche Pinche and Lupe's Cantina. I'm yet to try either (they're out of my area and tricky to get to on public transport). MANY years ago, there was a place in Headingley my family went to a lot; Caliente. I have fond memories of the place. The hottest thing I've done was probably the braised chile dish I made with the super hots last year (which I used in this video)
@@AuntieRachelsChaoticKitchen You may be right with the Mexican restaurant in Headingley. It has been some years now. I may not remember the location but I do remember the sensation of it. I don’t recall the ones you spoke about called Pinche Pinche or Lupe’s Cantina. Don’t sound familiar. Are they new? When you say tricky to get to on public transport? Are they more in the country? Might be worth a visit at some point. Fancy going to it after a visit to comic con? lol. 😂

So glad you did this with veggie chicken instead of my request for jackfruit!
They worked so well! I reckon the BBQ jackfruit would also be great though
Great video as always and funny enough, I made burritos this week for my meal preps 😂
Nice!
@@AuntieRachelsChaoticKitchen not as tasty as yours I bet though
Yummy! It looks sooooo good!
It's so, so good! Except for a couple of (totally on-brand) mistakes, really simple to make too
The most impressive bit of this whole video is your power of resistance against overstuffing the burrito!
Apparently I'm an actual adult now, I've learned from MANY past mistakes 😂

Great idea! I've used them in place of pasta sheets in a lasagne before
Excellent knife work

Burritos are great driving food
Not the way I roll them 😂 I still managed to get oozing
We love to take them when we camp! Not vegan ones yet though.

😂😂😂
food looks stupendous. You still mad fine!
Usually tortillas are made with lard.
Well, the ones sold in UK supermarkets are definitely not. They all use vegetable-derived fats. That's why it's important to check the labels
