You guys are musical transformateurs ! Incredible talent 🎤❤️ - and I’m 56 !!!
I love you girls please don’t stop making music.
Great sounds , but why oh why did you lumber yourselves with such a frightful band name?
Working away from home, this tune popped up on my car stereo BBC Leicester. I loved that catchy guitar melody and had to Shazam it. Listening now in my headphones, what a great track and lovely thick production.
I was born in 1660 under the feudal Baron, Marquess of Huntly and this is the most exciting band I’ve ever heard in my 362 years of life!
Lol 😂 🤣😂🤣
Me to good sir me too

I take it you haven't heard Cardiacs then.
I'm an Archaeoceratops fossil from the early cretaceous period and this is the most exciting band I've heard since Pangea split up.
Ahhh! Pangea! Those were the days 😕 World's not been the same since.
Pangea really rocked! But all the great ones eventually drift away from each other.
Ah Panagea... I wanna get lost on your rock and roll, and drift away.
Ah , so it was You all the time, sponsoring those brilliant PBS eons video's in the early days
Pangea was a classic

So true story our 50 year old neighbor just recommended this band to us!!!
Can someone be honest and tell me if these comments are just like a running joke with the band or people are actually hating like crazy 😭😭
I was born yesterday and this is the most excited I've ever been about a band in my entire life.
Perfect. Best comment of all time
A newborn isn't going to understand this because their auditory understanding is by no means complete.........Fascinating that you were born yesterday and already have an account here. Perhaps you are an alien, which leads me to question your understanding of music. Best wishes for life on Earth and I hope that you are accepted, musical taste not withstanding.
😅
Nothing new as plenty of these bands existed years ago, like “Look Blue Go Purple” from the 1980’s
“Cactus Cat”

As a 54 year old, this comment makes me feel happy for the future of decent music.
I was a Spartan hoplite at the battle of thermopylae. We played this song on repeat for 3 days and 3 nights while Myself and 299 of by breatheran held off an army of 100,000 Persians.
The Persian king was so pissed that he ordered this song "removed from history"
"To be as though it never existed"
The song was too powerful though, I knew in time it would surface again. May the gods have mercy on the world if this song falls into the wrong hands.
Sir.....that is a lot ;-)

I was the chief technician responsible for lighting the blue touch paper to initiate the Big Bang and this is the most exciting band I have heard since the beginning of the existence of the universe.
As a loving grandma of 12 adorable mid 30s boys, i gotta say, this group gives me life! Back in the 1800's we used to listen to other classics, but this group is my cup of tea. Thanks to my beautiful husband Sean, who's 24 this year, for introducing me to you kids.

If Wet Leg were around in the 80s/MTV era, they would already rule the world. They still will, it will just take another year or two.
I'd like them whatever decade they came out, but I'm very happy they decided to try the band now - I needed something like this.
No.... Obscurity beacons them...
yeah im pretty sure they wouldve beat the smiths in that era
@@edux9124 never in a million years! Even with the foresight that Morrisey is gonna turn out to be a right cunt, You'd be hard pressed to find a legitimate contender to The Smiths in Britain during the 80s.

I'm a Chinese spy balloon and while recently floating around "observing", I discovered this band and decided to come on down and check them out further.
I was born in a sensory deprivation tank, orbiting a chunk of matter in a far, forgotten corner of existence and I can whole heartedly say that this song slaps.
I was born in a PETRIE dish
I was born in a crossfire hurricane, and all I got was a lousy rolling stones song written about how high I could jump and how much I fart. I was wholeheartedly disappointed until this Wet Leg video came out and finally I can get over the brutal murder of my entire family.

I'm 55 and have no idea why this is a revolution I cant stop listening to. Talking Heads and Prince and the Revolution were my 80's bands. LOVE WET LEG.
I havent been this excited about a band in a very long time!! They are original, funny, upbeat, and the music makes me get up and dance everytime!! My 5 year old granddaughter LOVES this band. She doesnt know what the lyrics are about, she just loves the BEAT!!!

Loving the multigenerational fandom
@Ray McCraine yes terrible name for a band.
I had to enter Manchester University to study music and sociology. It's taken me a few years to decipher the lyrics. This is genius.
I am really digging this band. Just heard them on the radio. Wet Dream is an awesome song. Like this song too.
Already seen them three times live, twice in San Diego, once in LA. They genuinely love what they're doing. Very few bands stop me in my tracks the first time I hear them. Twenty One pilots did it with Stressed Out. Foster the people did it with Pumped Up Kicks. First time I heard Chaise Lounge the song had come on radio just as I was parking my car. Turned the car off 30 seconds into the song and walked away, stopped, said to myself "what the hell was that weird but amazing song?", walked back to car and turned the song back on. I'm 55 years old and my personal peer group is stuck in the past listening to music from their youth and refusing to accept the excellence that is new music. Interesting and inventive stuff like this is what makes the world worth exploring...
Thumbs up, its rare to see a music review on YT comments that makes sense. Its easy to be too deep in the art when it comes to music, and people forget levity, and that its all about playing around and having fun.
Good for you son
You're lucky to live in a place they tour in.

I'm almost hesitant to listen to the whole album at once. Getting one new song every month and watching each video about 1000 times has been great. (Of course I'm buying the album, don't be an idiot).
Dude when is it coming out and where do I get it from
In case you missed the Village Press front-page news:
" Two women from the Isle of Wight - Hester Chambers and Rhian Teasdale have broken the record for world's longest and loudest scream. The two have been practicing since they started college at the age of 16. At first they started the endeavor as a sort of a joke, just something to do while they were studying. We asked the duo how it feels to be the world's newest record holders for the most powerful scream ever recorded and if the pressure to produce a scream just as powerful next season was going to get them.
The duo responded "Na we just started screaming as something fun to do together. We didn't ever expect any of this" says Teasdale. "Yeah we've just been flying by the seat of our pans all this time. Everything has been so off the cuff this whole time. We've really just been doing it on the hoof you know."
The pair said they have a wide range of influences between them, but what really put them in touch with screaming was the works of Mr Fox, Lady Owl, and the 90's classic, The Screeching Eels. "
The Screeching Eels!
My favorite part of this video is that the kid has a Sublime poster in his bedroom… great taste in music!

I'm not sure why you're so concerned about seeing Wet Leg in concert next summer. You'll be a newborn baby at that time, and you won't be able to appreciate the music. You'd be better off focusing on learning to walk and talk.
A placenta blocks most of the high end so you’re lying about the great acoustics. Say you’re sorry.
I am extremely not looking forward to hearing everyone’s loudest and longest screams when I see yous play for 100th time
Agreed. The "What?"'s are bad enough. On the other hand, it would maybe be better for Rhian's voice, not having to do that at every gig.
We don't need no stinkin' earplugs
don't go to concerts then

It's a funny thought.
This song made me find my old car that I had in high school so I could sit in it and listen to this.

We're what? five-six songs into this album and this is the best one yet. Wet Leg have a swagger - a knowing confidence, along with the talent to back it up, that I haven't seen in British music for a while. I love seeing bands get to this point where the creative possibilities are infinite and they're having fun too. It's how pop music renews itself. They are already massive. Come Friday they are going to be massiver.
This is nowhere near their best.
I disagree, this one is a bit too similar to Angelica, which in my opinion is a superior song. It's still pretty good, though

Best or not we shall debate, but I agree with your assessment. Having seen them do most of the album live, I know there is more massivity still to come. Wait till you hear the more vocally acrobatic numbers.
