- Hi everyone! I decided to treat myself to a little staycation, still staying in Seoul, and found this really cool modernized hanok in one of my favorite neighborhoods. I just spent one night but it was really cozy and I especially loved being able to wake up and get breakfast in this part of the city! I enjoyed the mix of the traditional Korean design with a touch of modern and even though it wasnt 100% my style, I thought the owner did a nice job :) Hope you enjoy the tour!!

it’s so interesting to see such old buildings/palaces in the middle of all those very modern buildings, I imagine it’s kind of jarring when you first see it.
the center of seoul is such an odd mix of new and old and i love it!!
i always forget to tell you this so im back to say thank you so much for putting subtitles in your videos bc not many youtubers do that and after so much of netflix i feel weird watching without subtitles and you accommodate for people with hearing issues and that’s really sweet of you so thank you❤️

me too! i dont have hearing issues but i rlly enjoy watching videos with subtitles because i get to know every word a person is saying
I don’t have hearing/language needs, but I like the captions so I can keep volume down without having to resort to earbuds. Using earbuds too much causes me infections. With some channels, I really need captions because they do not enunciate or they talk way too fast. I also watch on my iPod so the size makes it difficult to lip read. I cannot imagine the difficulties the hearing impaired face with this platform.
I’m moving to Seoul in September and I’m so excited but also terrified and your videos are really helping to remind myself why I want to go 💕 thank you!

I've been watching so many of your videos over the weekend and i'm just so grateful. Not being able to travel or visit my family has really taken it's toll on my overall well-being, especially mentally. I'd recommend Eunpyeong Hanok village...so beautiful and has a different style of Hanok

Ohhh I miss Korea ♥ one of the best things in Korea are the keycode door locks! When you want to be alone, you can find a nice place to treat yourself, you don't even have to meet anyone...so nice!
