Jakson Reetz Homers in 1st San Francisco Giants At Bat vs Phillies 5/5/24

Jakson Reetz blasted his first home run in the top of the 9th inning vs Philadelphia Phillies closer José Alvarado. In only his third MLB at bat and his first at bat with San Francisco, Reetz hit a 2-1 pitch to deep left field to bring the Giants within one run. Reetz joined the team early this morning in Philadelphia after being called up because of the Giants injury to back up catcher Tom Murphy. The Giants lost the game 5-4.

No doubt with that homer! Hate to say this, but it may have also been the hardest hit ball by any Giant this year;-)
