I don't know what's more discouraging, this season or the fact that only a few have come in here to comment. Thank you Gerald and as Dharm said, we are grateful for your efforts win or lose. This season is toast, it's done. Thankfully Da Bears are the next opponent but I'm not convinced we'll win that game with the way things are working out this year. Hang in there Faithful, Go Niners.

Thank you, Gerald. This was such a horrible game for 49er fans. Normally, I don't listen to frustrating losses, but this was such an epic blowout that I had to hear Papa's call. By the 4th quarter, Papa was all out of juice. You could hear it in his voice. Tim Ryan was flat as well. Oh well, season's not over. There's a lot of football left. 49ers fans are going to see a few new faces in the lineup next week and in the week's to come. Let's hope the kids can contribute to a special kind of San Francisco resurgence.

Wow. What a terrific beating that was. The defense, which hasn't been good all season, was exposed badly in this game. I know there's no quick fix for this, but perhaps next season.

My memory of this game was being in my barracks room while I was active-duty Navy and a roommate and I were listening to the game on KNBR. I said to him when the Giants came to bat in the bottom of the ninth the Maldonado and Clark would go back-to-back with homers and the Giants would win. And we were cheering loud with they made me right on my lucky prediction. Also, I remember a fun thing that KNBR did with this highlight of Clark hitting the game winner and other game winners that season was them mixing highlights from the season into the song It's Not Over from Starship and after Mickey Thomas sings, it's not over till we get it right, and then they put the call of Ron Fairly's call of Clark's home run is perfect to fit within the song. It still brings so much joy after all of these years to this and watch it.

You couldn't begin to pay me enough money to listen to Greg Papa on KNBR after a loss, much less a win. And ditch the "touchdown Saaaaan Fraaaaaaancisco" business. You're in Santa Clara - a very different place. It's an insult to both cities. And here's another clue for you Greg Papa: not everybody is up on all the specialized NFL jargon you keep using.

That is 100% not factual. Moody missed more than 4 FG's last year. Hell, he missed a FG in every single playoff game and again in the Super Bowl.

Defense is gonna have a busy few weeks with GB, Detroit, & Buffalo coming up!! Offense needs to score more TDs...& these Jimmy G passes from Purd ain't gonna cut it!! Too high, late, behind, he's gotta do better!! Coulda had more TDs and passing yards if the passes were in front of the receiver!!
