This should be called the Dave Stieb tribute Video.
Matt Moore's is especially painful since he jammed seager and it still bled into right...
5:42 I was at this game as a kid!!
He miss that clean catch on purpose 😅 he knew was getting trade next season.)
In the locker room
,WOW ALMOST had it the wind, 😒 we in the desert😅.)
Galarraga didn’t lose his perfect game. It was taken from him.
Agreed. And I say that as a diehard Indians/Guardians fan. Gallaraga was dealing that day.
In fact, this game is so legendary that I use this in Philosophy class when we talk about subjectivity and reality construction. The core question is, who decides what is real and what isn't? Well, in a baseball game, the answer is one person.
I heard that bc of that call, that umpire is not allowed to ump any game that that pitcher throws
@@brianrooker8527 Galarraga doesn’t play anymore, but I don’t think that’s true regarding Joyce. He was considered the best ump in baseball by the majority of players.
1:09 just another reason to hate the dodgers.
8:13 why is there no replay? there was tv in 1983
I threw a no hitter as a kid, so this video pisses me off
The White Sox should have walked Arraez instead of pitching to him. Cease would have gotten his no hitter.
Because Tony La Russa was manager. His handling of the Sox in 2022 was legendary in its ineptitude.
@@philipmeckley5154 Just like the way Grifol is handling the Sox now. The way the team's playing they'll be worse than the '62 Mets.
