Dan Wheldon Donates Winning Prize Money to Flood Relief Efforts

Floods badly damaged parts of Iowa in June 2008. Entering the IndyCar race at Iowa Speedway, the teams of Dan Wheldon and Scott Dixon pledged their prize money to relief efforts. Wheldon's win gave the efforts the most money possible.

Probably the one thing the most that I love about Dan Wheldon the most, wasn't the fact that he was one of the best IndyCar drivers ever and possibly the greatest. But rather the fact that he was a loving father, husband, and had a heart of pure gold.......
