Love Albufera - I used to holiday there back in the 80s and I can’t remember the escalators but remember a v steep walk. Brilliant idea at the end ;)

Three Marias you mentioned as you passed it is a nice place with nice staff, we searched it out last year as under it’s previous owner- an English guy we used to head there for a breakfast cake with English bacon and sausages
Albufeira is twinned with Dunfermline , there is a Rua de Dunfermline which runs from the main road through the town and down towards the sea front. Disappointed that despite you talking about the stickers on the escalator, the last sticker on the stairway you came down was a Dundee supporters tour sticker from 2018. My pilgrimage each year to see that it still there. Another great vlog though. Thanks 👍

Swim? Is there any chance "Scotsman in Tenerife" would ever enter the water??? The Atlantic is not warm in Portugal you would be well advised to buy a thin Surfers wet suit, rash guard or at the very least a thick UV swim/dive shirt & shorts even in July & August the water can be surprisingly cold. If you take your kids you would be well advised to get them some kit, it will help with buoyancy, extend the length of time they can spend in the sea as well as protect from UV.
