The São João do Arade castle it is the Marquis de Pereira Coutinho humble summer house.
It was always owned by Portuguese Nobility , I believe the previous owner was Princess Adelaide de Orleães e Bragança because she lived there and her son Prince Francisco de Bragança van Uden and Royalty from the Netherlands and Belgium to whom she was related were regular visitors.
The Duke of Bragança and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlnds were often seen at that beach , I don't think Madonna could afford to buy it.

@@JumpingPlaces I ask because a lot of times when you look at the iberian peninsula you don't see the Portuguese border but sometimes you do is kinda confusing
calin acöstă Portugal become independent from Spain in 1640 , after 60 years of an Iberian union, that was never accepted by the Portuguese.
