I told my doctor last week at my annual appointment about the carnivore diet and he told me that the brain needs glucose, thus some carbs are okay. I didn't know what to say to that so I went home and looked it up and discovered that the liver makes glucose from the amino acids in meat. Guess I'll tell him that next year at my annual appointment, because I only see him once a year.

Haha, the brain does burn a lot of glucose! Doesn't mean we have to try and eat it while whacking the whole system with a 100+ gram intake of it all at once 😂

Anyone suffering from tinnitus, dizzy spells, vertigo, focal or absence seizures please listen to this man. I believe going carnivore has had a massively positive effect on my mental health. I was vegetarian for a few years and I never ate animal fats when I did eat meat before that, I'd cut it off and throw it away. Silly of me. A relative made me a fatty steak with chips fried in beef tallow, I ate all of the fat and instantly felt a massive difference. I got investigating and this is how I ended up on the doctors channel. I hope nobody has to suffer those problems, they're hellish. Eating carnivore has changed the quality of my life for the better. Thanks for your work Doc

My friend can't game anymore, she is dizzy all the time, as if she's on a roller coaster, and she either starves herself or barely touches fat. I can't convince her otherwise. She says it's her eating disorder pushing her to eat light and veggies. It's heartwrenching to watch.

@@justme33126ketovore is just carnivore with adding some plants in as “condiments”. Think onions, jalopenos and maybe a low carb veggie side occasionally like brussel sprouts or asparagus. I will be showing this video in class and going over this "study" to show what is NOT academic research! I started carnivor on August 3rd. My testosterone result in December was 240!!! My doctor is certain that is carnivore that changed my levels so drastically. I have adjusted my TRT and just redid labs today to see where i am...eagerly awaiting my results. May be discontinuing TRT 😊 I feel great! I had to do a lot of searching to find a doctor who understands the importance of testosterone for women and that women actually have more testosterone than estrogen. It's unfortunate that testosterone has gotten such a bad wrap and has become taboo. I am bless to have found my doctor who also supports carnivore diet. I have to drive two hours to see him but it is so worth it. I hope you can find a wise doctor for yourself!

I started carnivore on November 18th and didn't cheat over Thanksgiving or Christmas or New Year. I drank one beer. And never really noticed the weight loss but I started at 320 pounds and today I'm 275 pounds. I did carnivore because the cardiovascular doctor said I had to lower my LDL. Statins and Rapatha.
I don't care what my LDL is even though it was within the parameters they said he wanted it lower then the normal person. I go back in April and I will have a lipid panel done by my oncologist and act like I've taked the cardiovascular doctor's crap that would have made me a diabetic. I feel great and I am constantly cleaning and organizing with a very sharp focus. I sleep 6 to 6 1/2 hours and no anxiety or depression. At 66 years old I'm going full speed ahead. 1. Madison Avenue trendmakers can't make big prophets from family farms and small ranches.
    2. Big food would collapse if it couldn't sustain itself by high-priced frankenfood that cost little to make and proliferates across 90% of the grocery aisles.
    3. Big healthcare, a.k.a. "big symptom treatment", would wither away to less than half its size if we just refused to let ourselves be slowly poisoned like this.
    4. Government corruption would be massively rolled back if "we the people" demanded that all the above be outlawed to the extent that it's constitutional. Just that would bring a new American or global, Renaissance!

Another Carnivore praise report! My sister in law was diagnosed with genetic Hyperlipidemia in her 20’s and put on statins and advised to eat mainly vegetarian. Fast forward to today- I had advised she try Carnivore because what she had been doing hasn’t been working. Last year her total cholesterol was 457, LDL was 386, ratio was 7.6 and her CAC was 4. Today after just roughly 3 months eating mostly Carnivore, high fat, no gluten, carbs under 20g her CAC SCORE is down to 1, her total cholesterol is now 264, LDL is 189, HDL is 64. She is healing and on her way to being free of those damn statins! 🎉

I told my stepdad the other day who is a biochemist and is now a consultant for different food companies. He is project based. I told him that i had bad RA for a while now and when it got unbearable i turned to youtube and discovered the carnivore diet and that my symptoms subsided within 3 days and were 90 percent gone within a week. He obviously said it was very unhealthy to eat only beef, fish and poultry and drink milk, kefir and coffee and water. And then proceeded to say that i had RA because i have 12 cats. And then i said, okay but CDiet helped me, if RA were due to cats wouldnt it NOT stop rather than stop, the symptoms I mean. To which he said that youtube channels that do health podcasts are there to earn money via ads. And then i asked again okay but it helped me so what gives? My question got ignored again and i was told not to take these channels seriously. Then i asked how would i check if cats are causing my RA (which he theorized that cats are causing fruits and veggies to cause my inflammation) to which i was told that its impossible to find out whether cats are causing my "allergies" to fruits, veggies and tea. ( At this point i would like to point out again that this person had Masters of Science even. And attended a very good university in Ankara called METU. Middle Eastern Technical University, biochemistry. And when i asked, what about scientific studies on these issues. And that isnt it also true that Big Pharma and Big Foods are keeping people sick on purpose so that people buy more meds to cloak their symptoms, i was just ignored. This was 3 days ago. My own stepdad still hasnt answered. And mind you the most scary thing is that he is not a ahole he is not evil he never committed crime he never beat my mom or my half brothers he is always polite he will always help out with borrowing a couple hundred bucks. He is your average Joe. And yet my jaw literally dropped and i was in shock after that convo. Like if i didnt think for myself and not trust anyone i would still be sleeping 14 hours a day due to joint pain and then productive only for 3-4 hours with mild soreness and back to really bad pain.

@@Cheerful.Flourish and he will do what? Say, yes you were absolutely right? What a lot of people don't understand is that science has left the chat a long time ago. Most doctors or scientists that reject anything that goes against the grain reject it not because they have proof to the contrary they do it religiously. The way a Christian wouldn't pray to Allah and a Muslim wouldnt pray to Jesus. If he would have a argument based Convo with me about it, I could allow for a possibility that he may come around. But he shut it down immediately within 5 minutes provided no arguments and proceeded with an lunatic theory that cats cause allergies that in turn make fruits cause inflammation in my joints and then had nothing to say when I asked then why and how did my symptoms subside. This is literally like when they would execute epileptic people because they would deem epileptic people witches. The irony is that one ff my half brothers who he fathered with my mom has epilepsy and is on meds that affect his cognitive abilities severely especially in his left hemisphere of the brain. The irony is that the dude is acting like those aholes that would execute the eiileptics while I have come across many guests on podcasts and in the comments who say that people close to them with epilepsy, autism, ADHD, etc. had major MAJOR relief of symptoms and improvement in cognition after going keto or carnivore so basically cutting out all sugar processed or otherwise.

I do enjoy dill pickles for flavoring my hotdogs! I cheat, but now I know I’m cheating! I know better than to over do a cheat! I drink black coffee ☕️ or add heavy cream to it, for my fat intake. Sugar scares me, and scared people lose their appetite. I keep my food simple! If I’m eating ribeyes, I order the biggest they have! I use olive oil on my food, in the air fryer, to hold my seasoning 🧂 mostly! I don’t push my diet, because most people aren’t interested in their health! I am still much heavier than I should be after a lifetime of obesity and diet struggles since childhood. High T2D risk as 2 of my immediate family have it. Was definitely insulin resistant. Was almost completely carnivore and high fat for a year (included some dairy, instant coffee and a little 90% dark choc). Had to have some bloods done. A1c (to my delight!) Normal. Triglycerides Low. HDL Above recommended levels. Overall cholesterol and LDL both higher than Dr wanted, but, because I was "informed", I was not worried and declined statins. Although weight loss was slow after first couple of stone, obviously hidden things were healing! I also take a regular high dose of D3/K2, which fatter people need because it's fat soluble, and you need more to raise your levels than thin people do. Too technical for me to explain well but that is my understanding! 😂 I don't take any prescribed meds and my aim is to stay that way. I hope more flab will gradually come off over time! In my 60s now. Thank you Dr Berry!

(Yes BEYOND my control) I am finally getting back to it and I am so thankful for that. However, since starting back up, I have been "fasting" as well. Not because I make a conscious decision to, but because I don't have a desire to eat or feel hungry for 18 hr stretches or so. Is this common? Should I be forcing myself to eat? I'm not tired. My energy level has picked up since starting back. I just wondered if this would be a problem.

I started adding a chunk of butter whisked into my coffee in the morning and added more on top of my steaks when eating and within 2 weeks the weight has started moving again, another 7lbs down!
I think I was not getting enough fat so my body was holding onto it!
It is trial and error, you just have to play around with it and find what works for you!
