    If you fall away from keto dont fret just keep on trying. Every piece of refined carbs you don't eat helps.

    • @H4KnSL4K
      @H4KnSL4K 11 дней назад +11

      Indeed! I think one of the first steps is discovering safe (in this context) but satisfying foods that you can choose instead of stuff with carbs, seed oils, and other undesirables. I try to convince people to go to a eggs and bacon breakfast, versus oatmeal (with added sugar!!) which is perceived as healthy. Eggs and bacon can taste great and a lot of people would be willing to go that way if you can convince them that they're actually healthy. (and that oatmeal and cereal and even toast aren't!)

    pub med:
    The liver’s major functions are in the metabolic processes of the body. These include:
    breaking down or converting certain substances
    balancing energy metabolism by converting glycogen to glucose and storing extra glucose by converting it to glycogen
    making toxins less harmful to the body and removing them from the bloodstream
    The liver does this by receiving blood with nutrients from the digestive organs via a vein known as the hepatic portal vein.
    The many cells of the liver, known as hepatocytes, accept and filter this blood. They act as little sorting centers, determining:
    which nutrients should be processed
    what should be stored
    what should be eliminated via the stool
    what should go back to the blood

    Thank you for teaching critical thinking skills. Imagine if it were taught in school. Question everything. Congrats on the media coverage. Your quote sums up everything beautifully.

    I like new year resolutions. I started eating too many carbs and resolved to eliminate refined carbs and starchy vegetables. So far so good.
