The last one in the video was the most violent crash of all. Bobby Allison had a right rear tire letting go on his car and crashed into the fence in front of everyone. An unknown female spectator lost one of her eyes after she got hit by debris when Bobby's car crashed into the fence.
Bobby's crash is why NASCAR races at Daytona and Talladega now have restrictor plates on the engines, which bunch up the field enough to have The Big One as a common occurrence
I love that you're still going MSVD. I don't remember for how long I'm yours subscriber but I got thank you for all the time and effort that you put in this channel
Wow, thank you for including takao wada’s incident. Later in the race the EXACT SAME thing happened to another nissan which collided with Takao Wada’s car in another roll
That Kimi crash was not the most brutal, but it was the most heartbreaking. We all collectively felt his pain.
2005 ? If this is this case , it was the fault of FIA.
I couldn’t imagine having any kind of failure in a drag car. Almost a one way ticket to the other side. Has to be terrifying.
Richard Hammond agrees.
Fabian Coulthard at Bathurst in 2010 stays with me!
A most extraordinary way to start the Great Race
I'm a fan of Buemi steering the car without wheels
The absolute driver instinct to try and counter steer, love it
Happy New Year MSVD! Best wishes mate!
That Radical crash was, well, radical! A blow-over mid crash, could’ve gone really wrong if he had flown any higher..
4:41 believe it or not, that driver only suffered a broken knee.. pure luck he didn’t die
Awesome content as always!
In that last one, story is that 3 people watching this video at home on RUclips were hurt by flying debris.
Toro Rosso: "Seb, you CAN'T steer the car WITHOUT the front tyres!"
Seb: "Yes"
5:20 the most unpassionate commentator ever
Duuuude Takao Wada was legit on fire for way too many seconds.
Wow. Eau Rouge/Radillon must be one of the worst places to have a tyre let go.
It probably was THE worst place, not because of the hard impact with the barriers, but you were thrown back onto the racing line past a blind crest. Several have died getting hit a 2nd time because the survival cell is only made to withstand one crash. Pushing back the hill for a straight runoff was the only thing they could've done without altering the layout.
The 2014 Radical Euromaster was very spectacular
Trulli at Silverstone 2004 and Hakkinen at Hockenheim 1999 were bad ones too
Some big hits, damn!!
This not present bredon hatley in f1 suspension failure on Silverstone 2018 and great video
hm I had never seen a few of these, thanks
I would have shat my pants if i was the guy with the camera on radillon with that radical crash
I know an other hard crash due to lost wheels/puncture. Look after "Cor Euser Marcos Crash" and you find a crash of him at Spa in 2005. It was in Belcar race (Spa euro race i think) and lost rims in Eau Rouge (Raidillon). I was there when it happen.
2015 Hames Hinchcliffe
Bobby Allison's crash was technically caused by an engine failure. The failure caused parts to dump out, and some of this debris is what punctured the rear tire.
2005, stupid regs year of Formula 1.
Hartley in Silverstone was also a heavy one
Brendon Hartley 2017 silverstone ????
2018
Sébastien Buemi at the free practice session for the 2010 Chinese Grand Prix is absolutely phenomenal incident. No one can forget it, i believe.

Raikkonen Raikkonen oh😮
Veteran competent flagman!
The sound of the 205 catching on fire makes the clip even worst 2:02
Magnussen in Mexico 2023 was most recent
3:44 Whats the name of the music?
did the 3rd survive?
yes he did. I can't find much about the crash other than he was forced to retire from the rally (as if that wasn't obvious enough from the video😂), but he's been racing pretty regularly since so his injuries cant of been too severe if any
Why were there wheel tethers in 2005 but not 2010? Were they an optional piece of equipment?
If you're talking about F1, grooved tyres we're a thing from 1998 up to 2008, then were changed to slick tyres from 2009 onwards
The suspension on Buemi’s car didn’t completely break, so the tethers weren’t used
The wheel tethers just completely snapped off due to the force the brakes put on the suspension. You can see the tethers hanging off the car in the onboard footage.
Tethers help tremendously but they are not any type of failsafe. The suspension failure was so violent, the tethers were sheared off.
was everyone okay?
Buemi has crash in 2010 on my year .
Did the 7° survive?
Yes, with only a broken knee. You can see him getting out at around 5:07
@@msvd3803Oh... I didn't see that. Thank you MSVD. Greetings from Brazil!
Were the driver and co-driver okay after that fiery rally crash? Looked horrible.
The stupidity of all these cell phone filmmakers is so disgusting.
