Unfortunately, my dad is very ill, this is why there have been no videos. I want to spend as much time with him as I can while I can and support my mom during these difficult times. Luca will continue to film for you guys and @AutoAddictionMedia even offered to help out with content so there will be enough for everyone to watch. Now back to todays video: a brand new Touristenfahrten (Public driving) video from the Nurburgring Nordschleife. Due to the great weather it has been very busy on track, this also meant a lot of fails and crazy drivers on the track. Let me know which moment was your favorite in the comment section below!

Man, there should be a rule for Touristenfahrten that you should watch at least a video of someone doing a lap on the Nordschleife to understand its layout instead of being a danger to yourself & others on the track
Mot of them are too focused. The speed is ok it's just the corner that is too tight.....

its absolutely bonkers how unprepared most people are
i was at the Nordschleife for work and i thought about driving a lap on it.
But despite me playing racing games since many years and probabaly having done 100 laps on the Nordschleife, i decided that i need way more experience
to be a reliable and safe driver on this track.
I have now done over 30.000 kilometers (1400 laps) in the simulator to really get used to the track.
And now i feel like im ready to drive a real car on the track and slowly learn how it feels to drive there in person.
But still i would be carefull and slowly find my limits.
Those people on the other hand have probabaly driven 3 laps on this track in Forza and then felt ready.
I also cannot understand why so many lose control here : 5:45
i have never even once crashed at this part of the track. Its literally impossible. Its one of the easiest curves on the whole track.
But its more like a hairpin, so the only explaination for those people losing control is, that they didnt even knew this curve before and therefore entered it way to fast.
Its astonishing how much speed some people have while coming into the curve.
Another thing is how many people are not aware to make place for faster cars... and some dont even know that other cars are only allowed to overtake on the left side.

@@Colouh At least he didn't roll it, which seems to have happened with many of these Opels on the Ring in the 1970s.

@@929V6 I had an Opel in the late 70s. Rolled it doing 35 MPH. The windshield fell out and didn't break. The 4 of us in the car crawled out, rolled it back over, threw the window in the back seat and were gone before the cops showed up.

I hope that your father gets well soon Nathan. I have been in the same kind of situation over the last 20 months.
Imagine being rich enough to own a Ferrari, rich enough to bring it to the Nordschleife, and rich enough to accept the risk of completely writing it off... but too cheap to hire an instructor.

Opel Kadett b 6:11 has leaf springs and people tell me that escorts mk1/mk2s corner well haha. He would of been fine if he was in a kadett c which has a spring/shock setup

@@Scheltokeeper no it was some electrical that threw it in limp mode bc the ecu needed some updates, i think they said.

Anyway... After half a lap the thing broke.
@@Scheltokeeper huh, i watched them driving it and they managed to turn it off for a bit by restarting something, but it came back in limp mode.

Das stimmt so nicht was du schreibst.
Ich habe einen Kombi der 400 kg bei 2t Leergewicht zuladen darf.
Der ist fürs aussehen gebaut worden.
Ein m3 touring zu zieht als Kombi einige Sportwagen auf der Strecke ab.
Kombi ist nicht gleich Kombi.
Wer aber solch ein Kommentar schreibt ist und bleibt ein vollpfosten :)
