And these "warnings" came up as several women have made public sexual assaults that have led to the Berlin prosecutor's office now having to investigate. That the media have pounced on it was expectable....
I love your Rammstein reactions, I've been waiting patiently for your next Rammstein. Another great reaction. Rammstein have such a fire discography I still haven't found a song i don't like. Look forward to the next one.
Just finnished watching and must say: nice reaction. I apretiate that you took our feedback and are now using videos with subtitles. You got it correct, it is also about fear created and used by the media (which fits perfectly Tills and now also other band members situation in Germany regarding the alligations). I'd recomend you take a look at 'Feuer Frei' (Live from Paris) uploaded by Bucksttabu. Have a great rest of your day!
nice, you've got the main point of the video. There's a few nuances that's not apparent because of cultural differences. The main line "Alle haben Angst vorm schwarzen Mann" which the translation you got, got wrong, it's not "boogeyman", but literally "black man", a very smart double/triple entendre I guess, cause it does technically mean a boogeyman, but it literally means black man, which if you live in the EU you know it's clearly pointing to right wing parties, but mostly countries with corrupt shitty governments (like the one I live in), where people in power keep brainwashing the people against migration, by instilling fear in them from (obviously dark colored) migrants, hence the barbed wire around them in the video (see the fence around Hungary for example irl) by saying they're voilent, rapists, ect. But it does technically mean boogeyman too, cause the line originates from a german kid's game with the same name "Wer hat Angst vorm schwarzen Mann?" which is literally a lyric in the song, it's basically a game of tag kinda where the "black man" has to catch everyone. Anyway the point of the song is these corrupt governments put these insane people in power who spout this kind of shit (symbolised as Till literally in a straightjacket), who create these imaginary boogeymen, like the black man in the case of migration, or George Soros, or the gays, ect. to instill fear and paranoia into the people, thus segregating them from eachother (hence the family men building walls in the video), cause a segregated society can't unite against the people in power obviously. But the more paranoid, the more violent the people become (guns in the video), and they always create a new boogeyman for you to fear which keeps you occupied and not thinking about them aka the government messing your life/country up. And it's only a matter of time until basically you are targeted as the boogeyman, hence the part in the video when they see their neighbors on the TV and start shooting them, and that's the point where they crumble and are consumed, cause at that point the people have lost, the country has lost, cause they're destroying eachother instead of fighting the people in power who are spewing this paranoia that's consumed them. There's aspects of this in the US obviously, but it's way more apparent if you live in Europe, like the balkan countries and Russia are perfect examples of this, but even inside the EU, you have Hungary where the government (Orban) is doing exactly this and it's literally destroying the country, but the people are just brainwashed by fear... Oh and the very end is symbolic too where while they are watching the TV everything seems black and white cause how the corrupt media presents it, and when Till destroys the TV everything suddenly is colorful, cause in reality these situations, and people aren't that black and white.
Great - and well educated - reaction. I just want to give some infos about the background and some double meaning stuff. Bogeyman is a correct translation of "Schwarzer Mann" (literally: black man) in this context. But it is not complete - and cannot be within subtitles. Originally "black man" stands for a kind of bogeyman (or death) in German. There is an old catch and run children's game. One child is the "black man", starting with the phrase "Who's afraid of the black man?". The others answer "No one." ... "And when he comes?" ... "Then we run." The children run away and try to escape the "black man". When one is catched, it is the next "black man". I guess that's originated from medivial time when the plague (or "black death") killed half of the population of Europe. Infected people partly got a black skin and and children were told to stay away from them. Nevertheless Rammstein is playing with the double meaning of "black man". Some politicians and media spread fear about refugees comming to Europe. And even though most of them are not black, they might look a bit different and give a trigger to xenophobia ... which those politicians try to use for their own goals. So "crazy" politicians (one of the two roles, Till plays in the video) and indifferent media just seeking for attention are a dangerous combination. (That is at least my interpretation.)
the Specter Berlin videos 'Adieu' and ' Deutschland ' are considered Rammstein's best videos, but Robert Gwisdek 'Zeit' and 'Angst' easily a match for them if not better in my humble opinion, nice reaction as always and looking forward to the next one
Since you’re one of the few reactors I’ve seen who actually got the point of the video, I have nothing deep to say, I’ll just tell you that that adorable little pup is Minni Landers, she belongs to Paul the guitarist and tours with the band
..also the colours used in the video are the colours of the far right in Germany..awe, didnt know that was Paul's little doggy...big Dog lover here, got 4 of 'em lol
@@AKayfabe She really is :) There’s one cute picture of Jens Koch laying on the floor with her on his back, and another of Olli playing with her on the floor
Yes Till is the bogeyman, at least for the media at the moment. At one of the last concerts, he sang " Everyone is afraid of Lindemann".
well I am not. I love Till
For the ultra left wing "colorful" media 🤮🤮🤮
He had changed the text because he is currently under investigation for sexual assault.
@@nadineewald5921 No, because the media spread fear and panic and claim Rammstein concerts are not a safe place.

i love how the bogeyman is just an insane person rolled out by the cheerleaders and hooked in to the broadcast
