Thank you Elizabeth! There is everything to love about these - building one’s collage stash and what a great idea for those days when you just need to play or are feeling stuck.
I would love to see how you used these in a project. Love these. You always explain things so well. And you don't go too fast to follow you. Thank you for that. Just got a gift certificate for my birthday for Joggles. Now I have to decide what stencils to choose of yours to order. Hard decision!
I find the difference between the front and back of the tissue very interesting as well. One side is shiny and more intensity in the colour than the front. Love playing this way. Thank you for sharing.
The backside gets shiny because of the way the acrylic dries on the plastic trash bag. But the backside is the side that will get glued down in my collage work, and my glue is shiny so that will go away!
Hello Elizabeth...I watch you ALL the time but rarely comment...these tissue papers are stunning....thank you for what you do. I'm a fan of yours and have one of your books too! Be well!!!
Well I will probably look at them for a little while, and then some of them will go to my paper of the month subscribers. And then I will tear up just a little bit of it :-)
This was lovely, Elizabeth. What fun. Have to do a little prep for it -- the project won't fit into the 18 square inches on my desk. Thanks for the link to the paper. -Barbara
These papers are stunning and so much fun to make. I used some to wrap small gifts for a friend who does collage, she loved them. Now making more for me. I tried black and magenta on either end and blended in the middle, very striking. Earth tones like burnt sienna and red oxide are nice too with the gold dots. Thank you for sharing this technique Elizabeth!
Thank you for this!!!! I've been debating whether to get the acrylic inks and if they would do well on tissue. Definitely going to invest in some!! I just love doing collage and you have been such an inspiration!! ❤️
Beautiful papers. I love the crinkle texture of them. I like to use mop up papers. I splatter some metallic inks over the top to finish them off. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful papers, love it 😍. I've only found much smaller sheets of Deli paper so I've found that using White GARBAGE BAGS (cut open and placed on Foam core boards from the Dollar store) are larger and can fit at least 2 sheets of Tissue paper on them.
Thank you for you reply .I made 2 tissue paper on the bottles they came out nice I have 1 daughter who might say why are they so many wrinkles 😣. DAH that's the idea. I love them I finished 2 , more waiting for them to dry (no patients) also to old to go on Facebook .thanks again , 🤩🤩
These are gorgeous! When you started throwing that ink around, I thought “what is she doing?” But wow! I’ve had success with cheap tissue paper on the gel plate- has a lovely soft hand when done but I did not find them to be fragile.
You make interesting and fun videos. Thank you for this one using tissue paper. Would alcohol inks work with this technique or would the colours be too translucent?
Hi, Elizabeth! I enjoyed this video very much. Now I have to get some of that tissue paper. I was wondering: Do you know if you could get the same effects using India ink instead of acrylic ink? Thank you!
Hullo, Elizabeth! What a beautiful tutorial 😍 I absolutely adore Magenta and Orange together. Beautiful. And those inks are so yummy! I would love a set of them. I recently suffered a nasty fall and fractured my left arm in 3 places and badly sprained my right (dominant) wrist. I've been very down these past few weeks because doing art hurts. I know that I must be patient & heal, but it's very difficult for me to want to paint and not be able. I am consoling myself with a replay of your vids 😁 You always cheer me up and I am most grateful. Thank you, darling girl! 😘 Much Love and Bless xo
I hope that you get better soon! That’s a terrible position to be in. Art is so therapeutic and I’m glad that you are enjoying my videos. I’m totally with you, magenta and orange together is like magic! Thanks for taking the time to comment Lindsey
Oh my those are gorgeous! I love all the texture from the wrinkles. Love the foiled tissue paper. It's killing me that all my craft stuff is packed up, & about a 2 month delay on the new house being finished, but we'll get there. 😊 I've just found your channel & I think you're going to break my wallet. lol
Oh I empathize with you Debadoo! I can’t imagine having to wait so long. Thanks for finding me and just remember, art is therapy. Yes, you’ll get there!
Great papers. I've done something similar in the past but found the colours moved when I used matte medium. Can't remember if I used acrylic inks though!🤣
I e been searching for an idea to house my stencils properly. It looks like you have found it! What do you call those clips and where did you find them, please?
You really are….just a little ways away. I am thrilled that your in the Sacramento area. I’ve bought several of your stencils/masks. They are so nice! Just got your Klimt gals in the mail. Already have several projects in mind for them💕🌸💕
None of my papers are acid free for the most part. When I collage with them they are encapsulated in gel medium, which is archival and isolates each layer from the next.
I can’t wait to see a collage done with these awesome papers.

Thanks so much!
I like what you did with the deli paper. Gonna give it a whirl!
The effect was pretty neat!
Lovely tidbits!!!!!
Thank you very much
That's cool.
I've used ne of those stretch type kitchen garbage bags underneath, & had gotten a neat snake skin effect on back side.
Neat! Another great texture
The papers turned out beautiful... They remind me of tie-dyed silk sarees from India. Thank you for the inspiration!
They really do look like that! Thank you very much, I appreciate your compliment
Oh my goodness, I have that tissue paper from Amazon and I've been wanting to paint tissue paper for collages! I excited for this, thank you!

Oh my gosh, SOOOOOOO beautiful! The texture is breathtaking. I’d have a hard time tearing those up!

Every one is different!
Wow! Gorgeous! Thank you so much for your tutorials, Elizabeth!
Oh my pleasure Mary! Thanks so much
Beautiful! Have you tried using palette paper underneath the tissue paper and letting it dry on it?
when I paint tissue I do a LOT at once so that I do not have to do it that often, so I use trash bags!
Beautiful!
I thought so too!
I love this technique. Thank you for sharing. How can the sheets be dried in cooler weather?
The same way, either keep them inside or wait longer.
Wow! perhaps wax paper would work like plastic bag & keep papers from sticking...great color mixes...definitely gonna wear gloves & tighten my caps...
Give it a try! I bet that would work
Oh, love these beautiful papers and the technique! TFS the inspiration!

@@annieRadonjic I’m not sure. I just have the gold
So, after giving these colors to these textures, what do you do with them? You place them on a frame? Add it to a canvas for a painting?
I am a collage artist, I use all my paper for that. Visit my website to see a portfolio: PaperPaintings.com
I was wondering if any acrylic ink will work? I have some liquitex inks
I would think any brand would work , try it!

If you use any acrylic product, it will not reactivate with moisture.
Love this tissue and the ink paints, beautiful!! Where did you get your nonstick craft mat? I want one of those but I cant find it!! Thanks!!
