    Funny that I found this video today on You Tube - I was just thinking about you....I took a class in paper painting in Fernandina Beach FL. I was thinking you are one of the top 5 best instructors ever! Your classes are so well planned and enjoyable. Thank you...I hope to find you again for another class. For now, I'm going to learn about using Posca pens on my gel plate. ;- Alice K.

    @ElizabethSt.Hilare This is such a neat idea💡
    It would be helpful for the viewer in advance to activate the posca before using on the gelplate if there are new viewers to the gel plate and or the posco pens or both,its a great idea on a quick mention on in directions.
    The poscas can sometimes blob out the ink or to shake it and test before using on the gel plate on a separate piece of paper.
    I thank you for making this tutorial and cannot wait to try with my gel pate this process.😃🎨

      Because it is an indirect printing method, versus the direct printing method of the pens. Yes, there is a difference. It has any eviscerated, wood block, looking, partial print type of look. You have to try it to completely understand.

    I'm going to try this, but I already have so much trouble with my rice paper sticking to the gel plate. In the months since February, have you had any ideas on how to alleviate the sticking? Less than 10 minutes before the pull? Thanks for any tips! I need to order this stencil, so no rush!

      Absolutely less than 10 minutes I pull it immediately!

      @@ElizabethStHilaire I thought maybe so. I get into trouble every time I hesitate even for a few seconds or to roll off extra paint off my brayer. The best print I pulled last week was when I used the wrong side of my rice paper. I noticed right away and pulled it off before I even finished laying down the whole page. I need to work much faster, I guess.

      @@teribroberg1719 Let me know how it goes! I think you’ll be fine if you move faster and use a little bit more paint

    Would this technique work with Jane Davenport’s gel plate which is thinner & fits in her large journal? Best wishes. 😊
