Yeah, I had similar incidents way back in the late 80s-early 90s. Walked them to their car or go to the bar with them, etc. I was a "good guy", that they felt comfortable with, but wouldn't go out with me. I guess I came off as a simp, before the term was created.

My take:
They "feel" that the killer may be just a 'poor misunderstood guy' who lacked an empathetic mother's redeeming love.
(Maybe, but probably not !)
Their assumption leads them into "mothering / Florence Nightingale / Nursing mode" in an effort to "fix" him.
Not realizing of course, that he may have - likely has been shown plenty of love & coldly decided to never return it or reciprocate. He's a sociopath with no conscience which makes him all the more willing to "bloodsuck" hers to his own ends.
Not trying to sound calloused here - it IS possible that her genuine love COULD reactivate something good deep within him & "assist in Redemption" too.
It's just that only GOD via His Holy Spirit can redeem & make new a Soul, no other human can.
We can't play "savior" to each other, ONLY Jesus Christ can redeem us.
ie, lasting life altering change for anyone, a hardened criminal convict doubly so, is a Divine enterprise no human can plot.

Note to the Men listening...... I've been in situations were a girl I was attracted to, but not in a relationship with (In the friend zone), where the gal asked me to go with her on a trip/travel. I've mistaken that for romantic interest. In reality, it was her wanting a mans man with her to help ensure her safety while traveling. Also, I have experience with the woman wanting me to go with her to events....but not wanting me to be there as a boyfriend. Remember the friend zone? In reality wanting me around so that she wouldn't get hit on by strange men. All fine in retrospect....because we were friends.....but at the time I thought it was because she was romantically interested...but in reality it was just the friend zone. Causing heartache later of course. But if I'd realized it at the time, I'd have had different expectations of what our relationship was.
You also get many women who want men to do all their odd jobs for them, but have no romantic interest in them. Unless a woman is giving anything in return, which most don't, just walk away.

And as far as videography/photography goes, yes it is a beautiful backdrop. The main issue is is that there is too much going on, too much to focus on that it becomes detracting. But there is a simple solution to it. Have your camera settings focus solely on you an blurring out the background to make yourself the center of attention while still able to see the beautiful background. Hope that wasn't too wordy.

5:05 Men - make sure she is receptive to this!!! If she is foreign to this idea it could be a sign of abuse. Also, receptive to opening the door for her, letting her walk in front of you.. among others. The abuse indicators are hugely important to you as this is how she will associate you in her life. If men have treated her badly, she is expecting the same from you. You can not change this. Get out while you can.

I’m 70 yrs old and have known many women. I wasn’t aware that safety was ever a concern. Huh. Learn something new every day.
I asked my 48 year old divorced daughter about this safety thing. And she said OF COURSE. Dad do you realize I could be over whelmed by almost any man physically? She said she always has situational awareness where ever she goes or is out. So yes if she is with a man, she would like to feel that safety is assured.

Good that you mentioned women need to do their part. You've focused on what men need to do to attract and keep women. That's important Anna and I've enjoyed and learned a lot from your decoding techniques over the past five years. Maybe it's an opportunity for you to do topics on what women need to do to attract and keep a man. It's been said a woman will do anything to get a man but nothing to keep him after marriage. I've experienced this behavior twice and would like to know how to decode this behavior before making any long term commitments in the future.
You don't have to be in a relationship with a woman to make sure she's safe...it could be your daughter, your mother, or any female friend or even stranger under certain situations. Just the right thing to do at times.

Beautiful views of Vancouver . It really makes me miss Canada a lot . Didn't find the cat though . I kind of go by what my dad said to my brother in law before he married my sister .He said love her half as much as I do and keep her safe . I think this is important for women and always have .I've never been a helicopter boy friend though -- and think constant texting and phone calls through out the day is a little much at times. I prefer to date someone who can chew gum and breathe at the same time that has the common sense to stay away from marginal situations and have a sense of ones' surroundings at all times .We all need this regardless of what our sex is . Besides self defense maybe carrying a good knife -- not in your purse but on your person for easy access and knowing how to use it would also help. I'm pretty big and don't carry either . A good joke and tip in restaurants is don't hang out in dark alleys or parking lots .While it's good for a cheap laugh, the wait girls would rather have the cash .A man can be big and powerful but if there are four guys with guns it can often be game over unless you are military trained and still the odds aren't in your favor . My adage is to use common sense and if you park there in the day and it looks good think ahead to the night .Try to use parking lots that have security and good lighting . You might also carry a cane or non collapsible umbrella to assist in walking as they are also great for self defense , but learn how to use one .Don't carry packages that keep your arms busy .Leave your packages at work if necessary or go shopping or to your vehicle with someone who can be a lookout while loading your car .You can also use a rocket propelled grenade launcher if things really get bad in your neighborhood .Orrrrrrr-- you can just move .The savings on rent probably isn't worth it .

Situational awareness goes a long way I'd say. There's a time and a place when more effort is more appropriate and when making less effort is appropriate. Yes it is possible to go overboard with making an effort with a woman. It is not always necessarily playing it safe to do more because what if she feels smothered? Something to think about.

The dichotomy is that while they want this they far too often choose the very men who are a direct threat to them. They'll choose the bad boy who will treat them like crap while they put the good guy who will care for them in their friendzone. So many channels and videos focused on how to meet women's needs, whatever they are, and how incredibly difficult they are to understand. I wonder if maybe the answer might be how a woman can avoid being a completely self-absorbed high-maintenance delicate little child so that they can actually contribute to a healthy relationship that they might have (increasingly unlikely) with a man. Develop a channel along those lines if for no other reason than to provide a little balance.

I did number 11 on my new physiotherapist (1st visit) by accident (habitual for me. When she walked in front of me down the hallway, her hair going down her back, she looked like a past romance of mine) I saw myself doing it (like slow motion) and couldn’t stop and thought what am I doing?
However, she was nice enough to feel ok with it and smiled.
I thought, phew!!! I haven’t been back because I know I screwed up.

@@YourWingmam I couldn’t do either. She moved office so I went to her new office and asked for glutes and abductor work in addition to full body deep tissue. She was happy to see me and was very professional. We got talking about her studies and each others recent travels.

I'm a straight guy; but, I've dated a few gansta girls, quite accidentally, when I was younger. The experience, dynamics, and culture are different; so, are the expectations. Gangsta chicks are part of the dating pool and no one is going to tell you; so, plenty of straight guys are going to have this experience. I can read this now; but, for the young guys, what are the tells? Also, with respect, I think your advice is great; but, some of it sounds like it applies to gangsta girls more than straight girls. Is it possible for you to clarify this, "sometimes?"
