As a life time developer, I hate to inform you, relations and women are not code.
Never tell a girl you were testing, because if you confessed it then it will come back to you in unexpected ways plus you are screwed for next few days.
Best way to test women is to observer them and their actions at different situations.
I tell them up front that two things are nonnegotiable: dishonesty and cheating are deal breakers. I'm serious about that in all aspects of my life. High value, low value or no value I don't like being lied to.
Hahaha! So tell me how you can know FOR SURE that they are NOT those? A liar will lie to you and say they are NOT a liar. YOu will find out if they are a liar, ONLY after YOU catch them in a lie. Btw little white lies is the lubrication of life. And you only find out about a cheater AFTER they cheat. Liars, cheaters, thieves, robbers, rapists and even child molesters are ALL creatures of opportunity. Meaning that they can go awhile and NOT do it, but at the right opportunity, they will do it. They can't resist.
I know an Alpha Male, and he went back to his ex to have a kid with her. His ex went behind his back as a PROSTITUTE! I think that this guy has cheated as well.

I don't think I'm such a fan of "testing". It's game playing and I'm no longer into that. I'm 47 now and I've found that life presents its own set of challenges without creating them. All you have to do is pay attention to how the people around you deal with these natural challenges.

Phillip Toone i would generally agree, and certainly not good for any length of time, however "testing" if done properly just serves to speed up the initial getting to know each other. It answers the Question: Do I want to invest any time and emotion in this new person. Pretty harmless
IMO, anybody who doesn't like testing is because either they would fail every test, themselves or they're too socially inept to conduct a test.

IMO, testing is only game playing if it goes on repeatedly, over time. A little bit, however, is smart use of psychology. Is it games when you probe the unknown body of water with a long stick, before diving in, head first? No. Sometimes you need to understand how a situation may unfold, before you're in it.

I see where my mistake was: there were so many red flags, but I didn't have my glasses on and I thought that they were bouquets of roses because they clustered together in bunches.

I remember dating a girl (who turned out to be lazy and crazy) that rested me unethically. She would try to stir up jealousy in me by making up false stories. I tested her by talking with a mutual friend by mentioning these phantom men to them and found out the stories were unfounded. I was young and I dropped her because I didn’t need the head games. I did respond graciously at the time but I checked up on her because I felt she brought the subject up too often. Deceit is a red flag....

According to positive psychology, negative emotions require about 5 positive emotional instances to restore balance because the negative has a disproportionate effect compared to positive emotions. Therefore, doing a "test" of negative emotional consequence is highly detrimental to the relationship and negative events will present themselves naturally requiring only observation. I don't engage in relationship "tests" or other game playing due to the negativity bias but I could just be naive.
Good point. Avoid tests that would cause bad feeling in a high quality woman.
My test is just watching and listening to them
My very first test is the phone test. If she texts more than once I am out, non negotiable. I have a phone but I really enjoy face to face interaction. If her level of interest isnt enough to put the phone away during our time together, that tells me she is emotionally unavailable...to me anyway.
I do feel that people need to put their phones away overall (not just on dates!), buuuuuut in the case of the earliest stages of dating and ESPECIALLY on a first date, as girls we need to check in a few times with our best friend or check-in buddy for safety reasons. I need to let my friend know I got there, then we check in part way through to make sure things are good, then again later (maybe an hour or whatever would be the 3/4 mark of the date) to reconfirm things are ok, and then again as I'm leaving to *make sure I make it home*. It may look to the guy like I'm using my phone "too much" but when it comes to physical safety there is no such thing as too much.

I understand what you are saying...but! If any woman is that afraid of being with me, I have to question her motives. It isnt like I am taking her to a secluded cabin in the mountains...we are in a public place. Second is that if she feels that she has to share every detail of every interaction with me with her friends, we are already not a match.

I have Asperger's syndrome so I am here to try to see where I could stop my symptoms of going ( over board) Asperger's tend to do.
I don't do physical testing because I am to honest and I go over board with it. I didn't call compliments , compliments. I called them "facts". So telling women not to ware make up because she is beautiful with out it was not good, then the Asperger's would kick in. I would accuse them of trying to trick people. I learned not to say physical compliments. A lot of times women ask me how do they look or accuse me of not talking about how they look. I would tell them the truth, that I only say the truth if they want to know it.
I love it when I am being tested because they would set me up for it.

Personally, if a woman cancels on me more than once within a certain timeframe, I don’t just take it as a test, I take it as low interest and a red flag to be honest. I prefer coach Corey Wayne’s take on this one. And yes, it does depend on if it comes across as genuine or not, and if it’s a lame excuse, she goes right to the bottom of the pile. I occasionally test if I’m more serious with someone and I think I might be getting more involved than their participation warrants

My therapist told me not to test people, because they will inevitably fail. People get defensive, testing is petty, and it only adds trolling to the dynamic. Petty behaviors will crop up because the partner will think "well if they want to poke at me, I'll send it right back!" or even worse "I see he is testing me and I'm going to intentionally fail, because to test me is petty, so I will be petty in return. Two can play that game" Maybe this is just anecdotal evidence from whenever I would "shit test" my partner, and it always backfired. I love your videos but this one I disagree with. Awesome advice. At 47 years old and divorced I’m tired of games; however, the reality is that I don’t have time to “just wait” to see what someone is really like. Yes, a recent High Maint / Narcissistic GF had crazy tests, launched them all the time, and crossed boundaries all the time.
First thing is, don't test her like she test you, that's ethically by itself. You test her indirectly, not directly like they do, a girl that was my friend for some years now was interested, we went out on a date and in the middle we were doing the cliche checking each other's accessories so you can have and excuse for body contact, I was checking a ring she had and said it was very pretty, she said that it was from a woman that forgot it at the restaurant (she worked as waitress) and that the lady didn't came back for it so she took it for herself, that already raised a red flag, and that was enough for me to stay only friend with her, in my morals if it not yours and wasn't given to you, it's not yours to take, but she didn't had that morals in her.

Interesting comment about 'feeling safe' FROM your companion... I was in the Marines in the early 70's.. as women were beginning to be accepted into more 'combat' roles... And of course, that also would include 'Hand-to-Hand' fighting skills and other 'close-quarters' fighting techniques. And I heard several 'discussions' by my fellow "JarHeads" about NOT wanting a Wife that could Beat them up! {Just as you stated.} Of course, my FIRST comment was always, "Then don't ever give her a REASON or NEED to 'beat you up'.." Secondly, I would WANT my Wife to be able to Defend herself, and our Children, if I was not with her. And THIRD, if we were ever assaulted when together... I would be GLAD that she would become a PARTNER in our Defense rather than additional collateral that I would have to protect. But, of course, the bottom line is that NEITHER of us should ever have ANY reason to 'fear' our Partner / Companion ... and 'discussions' and disagreements should NEVER turn into VIOLENT situations. IF they ever DO... then your entire Relationship is Dysfunctional ...

When a woman talks about her, you're getting fed information on the woman and at the same time, you can tell yourself more or less if she may be a potential candidate for a partner and if both people have mutual interest they will know that. About 5 years ago, I went out with a girl 4 times and she did not insist on paying by the 3rd date, and one the final date, I chose to split the bill after I paid the 1st 3 dates. Her and I never went out again

I'm an inexperienced dater, 2 years since last date. Initially didn't mind interrogation dates, I'm very open, now I mind extreme questioning. Watching this, the testing seems manipulative. It's easy enough to watch how a person treats others like wait staff, retail people. Reveals plenty. No non-truth tests from me. "I was just testing you", haha?? If a woman did that to me it would be the final date.
I rethought this. A woman has a right to protect herself and test. A manipulative test still isn't okay with me, I'd establish the boundary.

Well she failed her own test because why would I want to be with a nasty person. Never spoke to her again and watched her crumble.
