I have the exact same sander and for my home use it’s been perfect. I also own a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica and find your old videos on yours are so helpful when servicing mine👍
If you need some more help with the slo mo capture, consider a collab with The Slow Mo Guys. They blow me away with the action that they capture. They recently did a video where they aimed 2 shape charges directly at each other (the charges not at themselves, like I had to write that). At one point they filmed at 10,000,000 frames per second. I'm guessing with the shop vac working and the sander sanding, it got a little noisy in the garage. And one last comment, more for comedic effect: Having watched NCIS all these years, I'd say that you are not emulating Leroy Gibbs when it comes to your woodworking endeavors. In case you've not seen the show, he explains to someone in an early episode when they ask him "Have you heard of these new inventions? Power tools?" And his reply is along the lines of "With the exception of single light bulb above and the idiot box over there, do you see any power tools here?" While I am not doing home projects at the moment, at least this video will help me more than the golf bag. Let us see how the project turns out.
I have watched some of the Slow Mo Guys work, very cool stuff. I can reach out to them for a collaboration but they are out of my league. Also, I do understand the no power tool philosophy...slow down and enjoy the work. Unfortunately, in my current life phase I don't get much time for these projects. Speaking of this project, look for an upcoming video where I detail the table build.
