    My brand new 2025 Model Y sounds like a window is left open on one side of the car. The pressure it occasionally causes our ears is so silly. Sadly, Tesla doesn't really have customer service and the service centers themselves really only help with the big issues they can identify I am told.

    I have had 2 Huqvarna automowers cutting my 2 acres for about 5 years. The boundary wire needed has become a real nuisance. Would you recommend the Orion over the Luba? have you tried any of the Husqvarna EPOS mowers? Need to go wireless next season for sure. Any thoughts on the Yarbo?

    • @TheLawnEngineer
      @TheLawnEngineer 3 дня назад

      I do give the Orion a slight advantage over the Luba because the back wheel turns and is easier on the grass. I have no experience with the EPOS or Yarbo. I am tempted to upgrade to the Yarbo, the sprayer attachment would be awesome. I’m going to wait for spring and see what new offerings there are.

    This was very helpful! I had considered the Luba ... At least before i discovered the Orion X7 with the vision system! GPS + LIDAR is king for bot mowers! I have a much smaller yard, but all of these scenarios were helpful. My biggest problem that I'm concerned about is leaves & acorns! I wonder how well it'll handle those? I guess I'll find out. Luckily i just got a new battery leaf blower that works great!

    That is quick and dirty but I always use sealant to tack down the new shingles to the old and to also plug the old nail holes. I was scared to death of attempting to do my own shingle replacement but it's actually quite simple as long as you don't run into rotted wood.

    Do you blow your leaves into the woods with your gas blower or piles, bag them and have trash truck haul them away? Your yard is pretty big. How long does it take you to blow all the leaves? At some point I will buy a robotic mower and I'm trying to figure out the best way to deal with tree leaves since I have some areas with heavy leaf droppage. I'm considering manual rake, leaf sweeper, or blowing. Or might have to hire a lawn guy and let them mow and mulch them during heavy droppage.

    • @TheLawnEngineer
      @TheLawnEngineer 18 дней назад

      Yes, I blow the leaves into the woods with my gas blower. It takes me ~4 hours to blow off the entire yard with a moderate amount of leaves. There are a few options of robot mowers with collection systems. I would really like an automated solution but I'm not sure that any of the available options could keep up with the amount of leaves that I have.
