I almost purchased a EGO mower and I always wondered how their other products preformed. I’m currently using a Ryobi edger and find it not as good as advertised. Thanks for another informative video.
As a new homeowner, I’m following the exact same buying pattern as you. Now that all the summer equipment is out of the way, I gotta start saving for their snow blower!
I have been looking at this for around the house. I saw in another review where someone posted that it has an automatic shutoff it hits concrete. Did not make any sense to me as you would commonly use this around walkways with concrete or stone. Did you notice any issues around the concrete with it shutting down?
You are correct, it will stop with an overload but it’s set high enough. I never had it overload if I stayed in place and was scrapping the side on concrete, only when it popped out and I hit directly concrete with the leading edge.
I’ve been using this for my lawn business for about 8 months. Love it! Gas sucks.
Great to hear it’s working well for commercial users too! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I’m hooked into the ego family. I think this will be the next tool added to the line up. Thanks for the video
You’re welcome! Ego has not disappointed me yet, enjoy the edger.
I purchased one a couple months ago. I used it for the first time, it was a learning curve. But, it will be a great tool.

You’re welcome.
Started with the lawnmower. Got the blower , weed eater, and now the edger. Ego take all my money
I have been impressed so far too…I feel more of my money slipping away for more of their gadgets.

Please do an update video on the Orion X7!
Done! Posting soon.
@@TheLawnEngineer thank you!
You can adjust the position of the wheel.
Yes, I should have mentioned that for depth adjustment.
Love it
Awesome
Love this machine but what a freakin back killer after about 600ft of curbing and sidewalk
Yeah, the battery is heavy but it does last a while. Hopefully batteries continue to improve and get lighter 👍
