Check out how the RX 7900 XTX Nitro+ and Ryzen 9 7950X 3D performs in Cyberpunk 2077 using Ultra Ray Tracing VS Optimised Ray Tracing at 4K using FSR 2.1 Quality.

Decent bump in performance from the Optimised settings, retaining most of the image quality. However I can notice the superior GI Ultra Ray Traced lighting brings to the table over Medium. AMD and CDPR please deliver an official FSR 3 Frame Generation so 60fps can be achieved. it will be a shocking sight if the RTX 5090 is here before you guys get it done.
Once I finish with my situation I will replay this game. Noticed that there are new missions aswell.
You can use the fsr3 mod in the mean time. I really don't trust cdr
framegen with less than 60 fps native fps feels like crap
@@wanshurst2416 on a controller it is fine. You could also go to balance mode instead of quality, then apply frame gen on top. Fsr3 also generates more frames on AMD GPUs. With fsr3 mod I'm getting around 45 fps more, so from a. 40ish FPS base, fsr3 pushes it to about 80-85, on a controller that feels absolutely fine.
I see people using a 4080 dropping below 60 FPS with frame gen enabled with path tracing and they claim it feels ok with mouse and keyboard, which I think is copuim.
But 70+ FPS with fG on a controller feels ok.
AMD really needs to get it's RT performance up to par. That and a competitive alternative to DLSS.
The fact that 4090 is able to do path tracing with dlss at 60 plus fps while 7900XTX cannot handle even basic RT Ultra is just shameful.
Frame generation is Nvidias saving grace. This game is literally altered to showcase Nvidias features. Frame generation changes the dynamics drastically for Nvidia, and it does the same with amd. All GPUs need to get their ray tracing performance up.
I do agree with AMD needing fsr upscaling to be better, but they have literally already stated that and is releasing in q2. Until then xess 1.3 is a great alternative even on non intel hardware.
I wonder if using those optimized settings with path tracing look nice
Does it truly appear superior, though? I harbor some doubts. I convince myself that the performance must originate from somewhere.
Hey, great video, i have a question, do you know how to display frame generation
fps in the afterburner, i.e. the "interpolated total fps", if you can do that at all? Thanks!
Radeon Overlay.
Please do No rest for the wicked Bang 🙃
I hate that emoji, so no.
I think I'll delay playing this game for another year. Having to spend all that on a PC and only averaging 40fps is shocking, even if it is maxed out graphics.
I could always turn off Ray Tracing and get over 100fps using Ultra settings at 4K which looks great. Your argument is flawed.
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer Yes you're right I'm sure it still looks great with those settings off. However, turning off settings wouldn't be maxing out a game's graphics then would it... so you haven't disproven my point.
@@erelpc Maxing out Cyberpunk 2077 takes money, which seems to be an issue for you. So you better be prepared to spend it if you want to ne be to be able do it. Or you could just use Ultra settings, because the visual difference is not worth an Extra 1K. That wont change much if you wait a year.
Bruh just turn off ray tracing. I averaged around 110 FPS at 1440p optimized settings with an RX 6900 XT. After patch 2.1 this is one of the best games of the past 5 years. You don't need 4K ray tracing to enjoy it.
There is a huge replay value if you do another build with another life path. I will also replay this once I have something in the future that can handle the full path tracing.
As a 4080s owner I have to say you’re not missing much, game looks very close to max settings with Ray tracing off. Most saying it looks so much better are justifying paying over 2 grand for a 4090.
1:24 optimized Ray Tracing have more detailed shadows down
You mean the Raster Shadows and Art design looks better?
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer I'm talking about the shadows on the floor
Yeah so you like the Raster Shadows better. RT Shadows and Sun Shadows are off with the Optimised Settings.@@ABSOLUTE-3XXX
