Trying lowering shader quality from ultra to high. No noticable visual difference, but helps with the frame drops. Also playing on a 4090 and 13900KS.

I can't get this to run anymore than 5 mins before it crashes, it's a shame cause it's a masterpiece.

It is harsh to say "weak", it is a great system, transformative in all segments (graphics ,audio,etc...) and as any other peice of techonology it gets older and hardware need to be more powerful for future games :)
I think the PS3 was able to play this game because it was running at 720p and less than 30 FPS, Of course, still impressive, but it wasn't beautiful like this video.

That's mesh trimming, no fix, deal with it or stick with the native resolution 100%
In the beggining you don't notice that, later on the game happens
So emulators usually performs better with a decent CPU rather than a GPU? Or it simply uses more of the CPU?
The CPU drives most of the performance in emulators, especially the RPCS3. Good IPC is king
I hope my new rig runs as good as yours. When's the 5090's due out? I'm hoping to have it ready by then.

I see the problem here, You guys can't ask what CPU the new build has? Its teh same as bucks, 14900ks and a z790 Apex.......Now ya know......i'm waiting for the 5090's........oh and i don't play emulators

I play gow ascension with 4090 but its anti aliasing works very bad.

I have a feeling that the Ryzen 9000 with its AVX 512 are going to surpass this performance.
you forgot enable debug console and turn on cpu blit emulation to get rid white dots on kratos face. , frame limit ps3 native for the game dont speed up in not demanding places.
When using Resolution scaling above 100%, this must be set to 160x160. Otherwise bloom will appear pixelated
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer nah bro, if you read the notes in patch MLAA they recomend threshold to 1x1.. that opinion is heavyer bc they do the patch. with 160 the lights seems wierd i dont see and in 1x1 i cant see any bloom pixelated.. texture streaming is also requerid

@Jason_Bover9000 the emulator is free, the game is not free and most people illegally download the game (ROM file). But.... console emulation has been going on since I was a teenager back in the 90s and is still going strong so the legality of it all is more of a grey area these days.... but still technically illegal to download the games.
