That was one difficult job! Actually because you know how/what to do, made it look easi- (er). I often try to tackle some home DIY, and even the simplest thing can take me hours or days. This obviously was not simple. And I cannot imagine crawling in such a confined space. Beautiful job! Elizabeth's honest reaction was spot on. "Awesome."
Cabinets are beautiful right where they are. We have my mother in laws . that takes up most of a wall in my kitchen. We wouldnt move it for anything. God Bless.

I can’t believe people have said you shouldn’t have two China cabinets. I think they’re lovely and I think you should have what you want!
Several people have said the we don't have much room in the kitchen, and two cabinets makes the room too small and cluttered. And they're RIGHT! But we can't get rid of heirloom cabinets!

When I first got married we lived in a 500 square foot home (tiny living almost 30 years ago😁), we kept our kitty litter box in the kitchen too. Absolutely no other place to keep it. You guys are wonderful! God bless ❤️
It would be acceptable to put those china closets in the living room. Would give you so much more room in the kitchen which is where all the activity is. Those shades should match, so replace the bad one. Shouldn't cost that much. Great job once again, Bill. Love watching you work! Love Dad's sense of humor! Love how he combs his hair. Great job, Bill. You are amazing in what you take on. The cabinets are both beautiful but one might be repurpsed as a book case, linen storage, etc. So glad that you and Elizabeth are settling into your new home.

As a single woman alone, I can tell you what a blessing Bill is to their family to do all those projects!! Reminds me of my dad, but he's a long time in heaven. (But no way I would want a cat box in my dining room where I eat)
We keep the cat box clean, and it's never been an issue.

That was hard to watch. I have to crawl true a keel tunnel from time to time to open or close a valve on a ship I volunteer on. I need space to turn around or I freak out. Two by Two feet is my minimum. I wouldn't do less. Your living room is so homely. I could move in and not change a thing!

A suggestion: Paint the electrical panel the same color as the wall so it doesn't stand out visibly.
Good idea. But it's hidden behind the washer/dryer, and can't be seen, anyway.

You did a wonderful job! It really opens up the kitchen. I have a very small dining room. My table can extend out and its gets cramped, but with all the chatter and food and happiness, no one seems to notice.
