Just a little thing that has helped me when trolling slow, I clip a 3 inch float in front of the jig. Far up enough to keep it off the bottom when moving or if I have to stop. Helps avoid snagging bottom. It will add line twist though, so a swivel ahead of it is a good idea.

So much fun to fish like that. That’s the “Green Hornet” color not avocado. We use drift socks on side cleats to slow us down to 1.8-1.9
With all the houses blocking the wind we were able to use trolling motor instead of the outboard. Held it at 1.7 and that did the trick
