Gotta admit i felt a bit queasy watching that lol i was watching the speedo i also would like to know what was in that yellow car that left ya eating dust JESUS that was fast henry was doing 140=150 at some points n the other one was gone.
I'll tell you who's in it. A guy that's pretty slow on the technical stuff. He was lucky the Golf had TC problems and probably slightly down on power compared to it, or he'd been in the rear-view from the start. Every time corners had to be taken he lost full seconds compared to the Golf.
Looks right to me. His car has a lot of aero. Of course it's going to be harder to accelerate at higher speeds, but he was hitting over 220km/h on some of the steepest and higher speed sections of the track. I think he right where he says he is. Plus, we all know British dynos read a little high ;)
Road legal, lmfao... If you're presenting this car, especially with its front splitter, to a german "TÜV Prüfer" he'll straight up get an Herzklappenabriss.
On Mrc’s dyno it run 467ps 540nm, but agreed it’s very punchy down low, may swap to a bigger turbo like Luke’s, but does chases his 500hp one, so either none of us have hp or unfortunately you’re wrong
Interesting fact. People run j hook discs because they look cool, but they are the least effective groove type for cooling. Straight and curved groove are better.
Well what you say may or may not be true but many race teams use them. Actually before ceramics the Porsche race team would take off the drilled/slotted rotors for solid discs.@JC_46 @@JC_46
@@eppyz drilled are bad and grooved are better. But j hook has a lot of problems. You only have to google j hook uneven wear or j hook cooling and you will see countless examples.

that 140 was absolutely flying 💨💨💨💨🚀🚀
Amazing to see a FWD car whip around corners at 100mph + like its nothing....freaking amazing. Stock engine internals as well? Crazy!!
Super fast fly swatter!
What an amazing build
and the classic check engine light vw loves that
It’s due to the fuel gauge not working unfortunately 🙃

470 bhp ? Looks like 350_370 at best
Mrc’s dyno says 467ps 540nm

its not 470 maybe 360-70ps…3-4 gear is so dead, best ecu for that platform is REVO!! But beautiful build 💪

These type of disks were not intended for cooling they're just meant for degassing/deglazing of the brake pad.
