Today's video is all about ingrown hair treatment for legs and even other areas of the body. I have suffered from ingrown hairs and razor burn my whole life since I started shaving as a young girl. Over th years, my ingrown hair issue has worsened. I started looking at ingrrown hair prevention and ingrown hair solutions to the ones I already had. As I talked about in the video, I had a wild array of rituatls I was doing to try for a razor burn treatment and an ingrown hair treatment. I ended up finding Tend Skin after scouring the internet and saw several videos on Tend Skin. Tend Skin ingrown hair solution has been amazing for me! I wanted to do a tend skin review for my channel and also give y'all some tend skin before and after photos as well as show you how I use it after shaving. While I can't say that tend skin solution has prevented every single ingrown hair or razor bump/burn, it has dramatically reduced the issues I have had going on from razor burn and ingrown hairs. I do plan to do an at home laser hair removal for y'all and I'll document the whole process and psot videos as well. If you are looking for a razor burn treatment or an ingrown hair treatment or even a way to prevent ingrown hairs, I think Tend Skin Solution would be a great ingrown hair product to try. As I mentioned, it has wildly changed my skin. Lauren Caron I had a rhinoplasty 1.5 years ago and for some weird reason I have these black ingrown hairs all over my nose and I mean the outside of my whole nose. It looks bad o tried everything not working.

I’m watching this video plucking my legs to get rid of the ingrown hairs.. I’m always left with red bumps everywhere and it looks like I’ve got acne all over my legs.. my thighs got tons of bumps as well.. it’s so frustrating because even if I wax (which I hate) I’d get ingrown hairs like crazy.. I also always buy the most expensive razors to shave with and I still get horrible legs after I’m done shaving. I will definitely try this product. It’s so frustrating and sad that I can’t even wear skirts, dresses or shorts because of this problem!
Thanks for commenting. I feel your pain, girl. I’ve struggled with the same thing. I even waxed for a while and had the same issues, plus - it’s awful. Lol. This product definitely helps! Laser hair removal would be your best bet though. As I mentioned, I’m going to get one for home and try it. I just haven’t been able to spend the money yet.

I dont even shave, i went to dermatologist for something else & asked about my leg & she said it was ingrown hair, never had these issues til i got older, & iam a women of color. Will be ordering thnx for info.

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS PREVENTING OF INGROWN HAIRS:
1. THOU SHALT NOT USE DIRTY BLADES!
Using a blade that's been used way too many times. Yes, this one may be obvious, but be sure to keep your used tools as clean as possible. Soap and rubbing alcohol will destroy bacteria.
2. HONOR THY DELICATE SKIN!
Too many blades! If you are prone to ingrown hairs then you don’t need 3 or more blades.
3. DO NOT TAKE PREP TIME IN VAIN!
You should be using a warm/hot water prep (5 mins). Then leave the shaving creme on for more than 3 minutes to really soften the hair. The hair stubble should literally fall away with little or no pressure at all. Pressing hard is the problem! Be gentle ya'll.
4. THOU SHALT NOT GO AGAINST THE GRAIN!
Shaving against the grain. Shave in the direction of hair growth (usually down, but perform a face map to be sure).
5. THOU SHALT NOT PRESS!
Pressing too hard on the skin with the blade. A gliding, light touch is all you need. This is likely your biggest issue.
6. THOU SHALT NOT PASS!
Too many quick passes with the blade. One pass per hairy area - going 1-2 inches downward at a time - will prevent ingrown hairs. Always shave like you might cause damage, not like your mowing the front yard lawn.
7. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT OVER SHAVING!
Shaving too many times. This rule is hard to follow especially if you have to shave for your career but if you are prone to ingrowns, try shaving with an electric clipper. The results are not super close but no one but you will know the difference. Ladies, try waxing.
8. THOU SHALT NOT CLOG!
Use of skin/pore clogging cremes or lotions. These keep hairs from growing up. After a shave, keep your skin bare; let the tiny army breath, and allow those newly shaved, really small, microscopic hairs to grow out just in time for the next shave.
9. KEEP THE SKIN FREE!
Avoid tight fitting clothing around the Adam’s apple (neck) and/or below the waistline region.
10. REMEMBER TO EXFOLIATE!
Not enough exfoliation to remove excess layers of skin. Use a skin care brush for razor bumps as directed. Brushes also tease the hairs away from entering the skin. Try a WIZKER brush today!

Hi I have super irritating ingrown hairs in my legs that makes me so upset because it felt like it ruined my legs literally. I can't shave that much now because it leaves my legs so itchy and triggers my allergies. So now I actually pluck my hairs on my legs which is very tiring and cost lots of my time hoping tp stop my ingrown hair but still I have i grown hairs here and there. Will this tend skin remover that you're using will be okay for me yo use after I pluck my hair? Thank You. If I can make my legs looks so smooth and beautiful again I'll be really grateful
I would definitely give this a shot. It should really help ya. I’d also consider laser hair removal. I’m working on getting a home system in a few months, and I’ll be filming that for my channel as well.

If you already pluck, you should look into an epilator! I’ve used one for 15 years, and it’s so quick and easy; I love it. It’s an electric device that has a rotating head of multiple tweezer heads. Sounds like a torture device, but I love it. I use it on my legs,arms and armpits.
Couldn’t find a more relatable video. I deal with the same problem and let me tell you.. the spots on your legs are nothing compared to mine lol. So what are the steps to it? You exfoliate, apply this and then moisture after?
Thank you so much for the comment! I totally understand! It’s tough to deal with and makes shaving such an ordeal. Great question! Shave, apply TendSkin after shaving and whatever moisturizer you use. You can exfoliate before shaving too. I just don’t always do that. I haven’t noticed changes one way or another for me on exfoliating so I don’t do it every single time I shave. I also use a loofah, which is technically an exfoliating method. Hope this helps!

I started shaving my legs with coconut oil. Do you think my Tend Skin will be still effective when I use it after shaving with coconut oil? Bc after shaving there is still a little bit of coconut oil on my skin left, so I worry if that can make a difference on the effectiveness of Tend Skin

i have so many of them but they're not pimples, just hair under my skin, & i don't wanna plug each one & i wanna prevent this, any tip?
Girl. I get the same thing. This does help though. Probably the best thing you can do is where loose pants though. Do you wear leggings a lot? I have found that if I wear leggings all the time (which is pretty much my home wardrobe, and then I workout daily so I wear workout leggings), if my hair starts to grow, the fabrics against my skin cause it to grow back into the skin. In the spring and summer, and fall I try to wear looser clothes at home. I notice a huge difference with that. ❤️ Thanks for the comment too and for watching! ❤️

Just a heads up, often strawberry legs are what ppl call keratosis pilaris, which isnt the same thing as ingrown hairs and are unfortunately much more difficult to treat :(

I used to be able to find those big bottles of tend skin anywhere, but now I can only find mini bottles which are not even half the size of the old ones, but the same price!
I’ve heard that from several people. I found it on amazon with no problem. I’ve only seen the smaller bottles in stores as well.
Paulas Choice has some great products as well. Their body retinol and their salicylic acid lotion.

This is straight up alcohol and it doesn’t smell like a clean smell it really smells like 70% alcohol, I’m trying to do more research because I recently got my wax down there and the lady recommended to me but I’m a bit iffy about it because of the ingredients…
Yep. Agreed! 💯 I didn’t care much about ingredients or any of that stuff when I made this video. I currently make my own skincare and a product for razor burn as well. I haven’t used this in a long time. 💙
I got bored you took too long to get to the point
This just burns your skin and discolours as it has salicylic acid in it. Witch hazel is a more natural and works the same as i.e alcohol, salicylic acid without the burn sensation. Natural lemon juice and Aloe Vera gel are also good for aftershaving.
Lemon juice has citryic acid which basically has the same ph as salicylic acid lol
I used it right after epilating, and it didn’t burn at all.
Thanks for sharing this! I’m actually working on a natural remedy/product that I can create since I’m focused more on holistic products and health these days.
