The "Jangly piece of music that turns into an American barroom tune" from the Tetris port is actually the victory music from Super Mario Bros. 2 that plays when you clear a world and the exit door appears. In other words, yet another ripoff. Yay. Furthermore, the intro music to "Sea Wolf" is the computer stage select screen from DuckTales (NES game). And the level select music to "The Wall" is the intro music to a stage in Duck Hunt (plays just before the dog jumps into the bushes).
+Steven Oryan Wow, Look at the troll looking for attention from an anonymous guy from the internet. Here you go Dear Troll. I hope your life just got a little bit better.
Honestly, It isn't bad for what it is. Though it's a complete rip off of everything and super cheap, much better than every pop station and cheap thing you have reviewed! Pretty good for people who want games and don't have money for a phone or something...
Oh cool, Sea Wolf also has Megaman music. Not totally sure what stage off the top of my head. And Recieve Apples has... the level select theme from Ducktales. Hmm. Only on the title screen though.
***** BTW at 14:12 that is the music from Super Mario Bros 2 (USA) when you beat a boss at the end of each world and a door opens... it sounds wierd but it's in the game.
Wow. I wasn't expecting much at all from this device, but it looks like they actually went above and beyond the ripoff call of duty. As a KOF fan, I especially notice the...uh...effort that went into the "King Boxing" game, with NOT Joe Higashi and the NOT Kyo Kusanagi/NOT Robert Garcia with his Art of Fighting fireball and Benimaru spin kick. Someone had to hand draw all these sprites, albeit with heavy use of reference. I'm mildly impressed.
I scrolled too far to find this comment. And I agree. I imagine somewhere to someone this thing is the best cos it's cheap and the devs put some sort of effort into making it at least not completely terrible.
I... Actually kind of like the 8bit PVZ zombie sprites used here than in the official DS version. Although yes, the ones in the DS look more detailed with the hair and all, the sprites here just look so cute and simple.
Anger Birds is cool, bro! Almost as cool as Flapper Bird! Have I mentioned Sonic the Hoghedge (and his buddy Fails the Headgear) and Spidey-Man? Or the Nintundo titles Mario Brother-In-Laws and Goose Hunt? Let's not forget the totally awesome Legend of Link! These ripoff misspellings are krazy bros XD
I remember stumbling upon this several years ago when I was looking for a game console (I didn't care if it was official or bootleg at the time). My mum was a bit hesitant about buying it for me, and rightfully so (we had the option to test it out before buying and the damn thing was stuck on a white screen). Thankfully, I ended up buying a secondhand 3DS XL (and got some games for free) from a friend some time later down the line...
Hmm some of those musics... 2012 has Bubbleman stage music playing half of the music and the tetris title is the Super Mario Bros 2 USA game over theme, I'm hearing some other stuff like Adventure island to umm...Some of them are still unknown to me. I love these reviews
Shoot Balls has a variation of the Duck Hunt theme on the title screen. If I had one of these things, I'd just be sitting there and try to guess every theme they nicked or be stumped on the ones I don't know.

I find myself on your channel every single time I go on youtube lol. I keeps saying in my head "just one more" then I end up watching 20 more and its 1:00 AM I love your videos :D
Risker title music and play music are both from Adventure Island, I believe. Also the title music from 2012 is the little tune from when you finish a level in Adventure Island, at least 2 and 3. Tetris title music is from when you game over in Super Mario Bros. 2 (the western version not the proper Japanese original) Sea Wolf/Receive Apples title music is the level select from Duck Tales, and the game music is Protoman stage 1 from Mega Man 5. The Wall/Shooting Balls title music is the stage opening for Duck Hunt, the game music is the overworld music from the NES port of Ultima Exodus, and the game over music is game over from the first Contra/Probotector.
"Terminator 2" was a Famicom clone. It was very popular in some countries where the NES wasn't released. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminator_2_(console) Perhaps they decided to call it Terminator 1.8 because of that.
10:29 Risker: "Die you monster! You dont belong in this world! You steal mens souls!" Turtle Thing: "What is a man! A miserable little pile of... This cannot be! AAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHH!!" Me: That would have been so cool in so many wrong ways :))
So my nephew saw this video with me and wants this handheld so bad, I tried aliexpress but I didn't find one of these. Is there a link to buy this at a good price?
In order to see the Game Boy Advance's screen, you need to be sitting inside the very center of the universe's brightest quasar. While surrounded by 43 supernovae.

poptheweasel100 adding to the megaman references that snake on the side in montezuma looks strikingly similar to the snake miniboss in snakeman's stage in Megaman 3

The GPD XD is way better (a 3DS rip off with a modern processor and specs, ironically more powerful than the actual 3DS)
The two Angry Bird and PvZ rip offs are pretty well made actually O.o
Benedikt Müssig It's not angry birds, It's anger birds.
Angry Birds without any physics is a bit limited
AgentTasmania Well regarding the low specs of this console its quite good. And I really like the retro style of these games.
+Benedikt Müssig More like Mildly-Irritated Birds.
Shpee Crab Sure but I was correct as I used the term "Angry Bird rip-off" ;)
An Anger Bird ripoff would be a ripoff of the ripoff.

NS-SHaft has halloween 1 as it's main theme. (Ashens even said so) It just seems to be off a few pitches.
Also, NS-tower has the same halloween main theme.
Just figured out King Boxing music, it’s actually Zanac from the NES. Pretty sure level 2 or 3
pokemon ranger seems to be common among pop stations as I've seen one with the bibarel sprites
