They are telling you, your Toyota AD, doesn't point out the elephant in the trunk. That huge Hybrid battery pack using old technology batteries, is taking up interior space instead of being placed OUTSIDE the cabin, and using newer Lithium batteries. When your "reviews" don't point out the Bad with the good they become less relevant, and show that Toyota has wined and dined you properly.
The Hybrid system Toyota chooses to use on this and other new vehicles is a big huge FLOP, FAILURE, BOONDOGGLE !
Instead of making the new generation Hybrids fuel efficient , the engineers went for a smaller , less reliable 4 cyl turbo hybrid combination that for a hybrid gets ABYSMAL FUEL MILEAGE ! Other Manufacturers can get 36 MPG out of this setup in large to mid size SUVs .
So including the gargantuan prices MSRP, plus dealer markups, Toyota is killing its own business. Not even these RUclips ads will fix that ! @@Toyotajeff

@@jameslester4474 no you guys misunderstand one thing...the hybrids used in gen6 4runner or the new land cruiser is “parallel hybrid“ with electric motor sits in P2 position. This structrure is not meant for fuel efficiency but for performance and reliability, especially the latter, when eletric motor/battery completed died, the rest of the car is a "complete" gasoline vehicle that can still work. Other hybrid structure (e.g., ones from rx, honda) gives you incredible fuel efficiency with compromised relibabilty - if battery or electric motor dies, the car will not work. For city SUV, it is fine since no one will do crazy things with them. But for offroad vehicle, this is unacceptable. Wow look at that prop stick adjustable for short and tall people, just glorious? He mentions nothing about the back floor which is now higher, can only put 150 pounds on top the seats that now tumble and are worse than what we had ,electronic everything I’ll keep my 5th gen no complaints BTW you didn’t mention that you have to put high test gasoline in this ,actually you never mention anything that may be a negative like no more flat floor with those tumble seats

True, also, a lot of people don't trust the turbo and going for the current generation, toyota is taking advantage of selling more.

The Tahoe is still the best bang for the buck. I don’t care what people say. The ride, the 5.3 or diesel, the interior space and pretty damn good reliability. Toyota is getting way too pricey for what you get.

@@Toyotajeff how can you act excited for this…. the price alone is shameful. I am 65yr female. My first car was a brand new 81 Chevy Citation… then an 88 mini van, then a 94 mini van, then a 2002 Chevy Suburban, then a Chevy Silverado, then a Chevy Equinox( a horrible choice choice) then a 2013 Jeep Wrangler….. low and behold that was such a value that I was offered so much for that Jeep that I got a 2017 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 I am driving that now with no issues , 101,000 miles, great mileage still, I have always wanted a 4 runner ……. but at these prices???? You seem so excited for these prices not to be someone that profits from them! If I am wrong please correct me.

The design is great though the front grill portion could have had the same features of the 5th Gen limites. Then this new gen would have been a beauty. Like many who would agree, the new engine is not making us feel we are loving the new gen as we dont knw how reliable it would be. We shall wait and see.

Yeah for 2025 Toyota destroyed reliability and jacked the price through the roof. Give me a basic NA 4x4 4R with no gimmicks. Heck I'm fine with crank windows and manual locks ($1500 savings). Also a infotainment delete option and save another $3000+. What frosts me is the junk turbo 4 costs more to produce than the 4.0.

Lot of features I would say, Memory seats, Aux switches, Aftermarket Suspension modded, Light mods, high wattage power, Latest tech package, JBL Audio. But that's it. Nothing more is good. It lost the reliable 4.0L 1GR FE, that thing is more reliable than a 3UR Land Cruiser V8, it can go beyond 300-400K miles. The A750E 5-Spd is also gone, replaced by newer Hybrid / Electric powertrain. The back seat is cut on space, it's too crammed for such a big truck. Mileage won't be massively better either. Looks like a new Taco, ugly as hell on the front end. Plastic fenders are garbage, the interior plastic is cheap. Just try to use that hold bar for passenger and see how it flexes. They can keep it. No thanks, 5th Gen 4Runner is where it is at. I have it and it's amazing.
