Thank you Eloi, a lot of Blender artists are desperate and think it’s the only software to do everything. I love max so much and I think there’s tremendous Amt of potential
It's just noise man don't even worry about it! People will like what they like, and use what they want to. Max still has features to this day that are unmatched still from other programs that are more 'modern'. Right tool for the right job, and it doesn't hurt to know them all. 🙂 use what works for you!
@@WwR4444max could do better, if it had sculpting, match moving, something similar to geo nodes, faster cloth, built in compositor.. not that max is bad, but blender is good enough being free
@@WwR4444 I would call it the social media effect. It's all about this omnipresent buzz coming from influencers and channel creators that convinces people 3D is suddenly only about Blender. Since it is a free tool, it costs them nothing to promote it.
Still not getting the advantage of USDs (maya user here). Only thing I found in testing is the limitations.. USDs not working with light linking.. Cease to wok when project is transferred from one device to other.. Sticking to referencing until they actually support USDs like they support FBX.

What a month! Some stunning animations in the Max is only for archviz section, I'm especially in love with these regular shorts released by MAKE, so well made and so funny!

Its not Autodesk. You are keeping 3ds max alive.
3D Max is a very fast and powerful platform for animation in large projects and does not need to be kept alive because it is a tool for professionals; Softwares like Blender, which are growing with the support of Google and because they are free, have no say in heavy projects and are only stealing and imitating Max, Maya, etc. If Blender wasn't open source, he couldn't steal so much!

Great Stuff. I am Max user from a long time and now i am curious about one day, 3ds max going to upgrade its character CAT rigging. I know they have maya but its quite difficult for the people like me to learn another SW with very different architecture. Consider this Autodesk.

Eloi! Soy Gabriel, desde Argentina. Como hiciste para instalar tyflow en Max 2024? En la pagina se consigue hasta 2022. Probe a instalarlo y no me lo toma.
Bajate tyflow, hay todas las versiones hasta 2024
@@andvfx será porque bajo siempre versiones beta para tener acceso a todas las posibilidades que me ofrece? Hoy mismo baje la última beta. No anduvo.

@@MrHomer3d instalate la ultima version free. Pierdes multithread, cuda y caches, pero hay tantisimas cosas nuevas y mejoradas respeto ka beta.
