Hey! How did you mount the tf2 body on your trx 4? I have a trx 4 sport I need of a new body and I already have tf2 front and rear tube bumpers with low pro rock sliders.
Hi there ! I'm going through your videos and subbed cse I intend to make a similar build. I've been looking for a good crawler and went through a good number of different brands to find out the TF2 was one of my favourite. I also went through different forums where I read that Rc4WD wasn't the most serious brand to deal with reliability wise (out of the box) as well as for their poor customer service (It seemed to be a very common issue, but I never dealt with them personnaly). The TRX4 came second for all the mechanical sophistications. I really liked the leaf spring system on the TF2 tough. So I thought I could be better starting with a TRX4 chassis. The TF2 body still interests me for scale aspects. I could probably "upgrade" the chassis with rear leafs afterwards but my guess is that it will not be an improvment on the level of performance (still have to learn what will I enjoy the most, performance of scale). I really like how you came to combine the best of both worlds. It will be a good starting point and surely a lot of inspiration for me to find for my first crawler build. Reno D I have 1 tf 2 and it runs find but is not a great preforming truck, it’s more scale looking. I also have two trx 4 and there performance is much greater.

I use the tf2 body lift brackets and mounted them to the trx 4 frame
I used the tf 2 body riser mounts on the trx 4 to mount the body

Mounting Toyota body to the trx4 I used the rc4wd body lift mounts and mounted it the chassis of the trx 4
