Where did you get the body?

I like the look of your truck with the tf2 body. Any change you could do a video or add some pictures on how you mounted it? I read that you used the rc4wd body lift kit.

Did you complete this build? I'm only asking because I picked up a hard body bronco from club5. The front inner fenders and inner headlight housings on the bronco body are literally touching each other and I feel like the body needs to go back just a hair more.

I can’t wait to see how this turns out. You’ve got my interest now this was 5 months ago so there’s gotta be some progress.

Hi there ! I'm going through your videos and subbed cse I intend to make a similar build. I've been looking for a good crawler and went through a good number of different brands to find out the TF2 was one of my favourite. I also went through different forums where I read that Rc4WD wasn't the most serious brand to deal with reliability wise (out of the box) as well as for their poor customer service (It seemed to be a very common issue, but I never dealt with them personnaly). The TRX4 came second for all the mechanical sophistications. I really liked the leaf spring system on the TF2 tough. So I thought I could be better starting with a TRX4 chassis. The TF2 body still interests me for scale aspects. I could probably "upgrade" the chassis with rear leafs afterwards but my guess is that it will not be an improvment on the level of performance (still have to learn what will I enjoy the most, performance of scale). I really like how you came to combine the best of both worlds. It will be a good starting point and surely a lot of inspiration for me to find for my first crawler build. Hey! How did you mount the tf2 body on your trx 4? I have a trx 4 sport I need of a new body and I already have tf2 front and rear tube bumpers with low pro rock sliders.

SO I got a sport trx4 as well. I was running the 540 20t Crawlmaster, just ordered the 12T Crawlmaster sport, wondering if going from a 540 to a 550 will make a difference. What was your take on it, was the 550 a big difference between the 540 and 550.

Traxxas motors are actually really high quality sealed cans. The main and most significant difference is the front bearing. Trailmaster motors are good but not worth tossing a good usable titan motor for. When the titan dies a Holmes motor is a couple bucks cheaper.
