nice topic! what i want to add is that previously i started with a mirroless sony a6000 camera, and i couldn't optimize the colours of the camera for frontal view retracted photos :(, but it was great for posterior shots with rubber dam.although sony a6000 is great for microscope photos and filming. now i have a canon 800d with a 100mm lens and colours are so much better. waiting for your June's podcast!!
Hi Jaz, do you have any suggestion as to which memory card is the best for the z50 set up as recommended in this video? (Just found your channel and i love the content! Cheers)
Thank you Saleem! I'm afraid it's not the model I use so wouldn't know about recommended memory cards and don't want to steer you wrong! you can DM @dentist.camera on Insta - he is super helpful
thank you for information, can I ask please , I plan to buy canon 850d but 100mm is usm will be like 160 mm in full frame camera , maybe 60mm will be good , face will not be wider with 100m lense? And for orthodontist have I to buy maybe full frame camera 6d mark 2 used maybe will be better with 100mm lenses?
Honestly crop sensor is just fine for Denistry. 100mm and 60mm both OK but for 60mm you have to get much closer to the patient - can sometimes make Occlusals tricky
Can someone clarify which 85mm dx macro lens exactly? Because it is an F mount the one showed in the image

Can someone clarify which 85mm dx macro lens exactly?

Sony has taken over in macro what do u say😊
they have!
Why not 105 mm nikor instead of 85 mm
it works too - personal taste. 85mm means you're a little closer to the patient
Ah, was hoping for him to recommended the high end setup for nikon :D
hahahah would make it easier to justify!
