hy dr.Jaz! i just watched this episode and enjoyed it! waiting for the part II !! I would also have a question: i am taking dental photographs for 7 months now (canon camera, canon macro lens with a ring flash). I want to ask about the my canon macro 100mm lens (with the gold ring canon macro lens).I am using the Canon100mm F2.8 Macro USM (without image stabilization)and my pictures sometimes are not that crisp (shutter speed is 1/200 f 22-25). i am thinking it's because my hand shake . should i upgrade to Canon 100mm F2.8L Macro IS USM that includes image stabilization (with the red ring on the plastic) or should i try to improve my hand body-position when i am shooting? is image stabilization important with shutter speed of 1/200? thank you. and waiting for the next episode!!
Hi Cosmin thank you! I use the SAME lens as you. For Dentistry the L series lens with the red ring is not essential - its overkill. I would just spend a little more time to ensure your focus/distance is good and this takes time to perfect to get perfect crisp photos. The more you do it the more stable your hands will become!
documentation part was on point💯
