The OEM one is basically thick foam, as you can probably tell from the video, I wasn't impressed by it at all. The XPel armor is certainly much tougher. I'm also testing something that's similar to the OEM style, but it's a much higher density rubber, more like the rubber flooring you might see in a gym (but still thin - 3mm, same as OEM). If we go ahead with it, it's probably a month or so out, need to complete the testing in wet and cold weather (the rubber is fine, but need to properly test the adhesive). Right now (the weekend of 7 Dec) there's 22% off all out Cybertruck Armor too, code is on the site.
ridiculous, i'm not considering doing this let alone thinking about it after this install debacle, its a truck, I'll use it different vs show, my shizzle will be dirty
Thanks for the video! Glad I didn't open mine. Returning...

Thanks for the video. Look like I’ll skip on this accessory unless they improve it one day

Looks like some grip tape
Basically, yeah. So far it's holding up ok, but it's not worth it.
What did I just see…?
Tesla should be very embarrassed by your video because this item is crap!
