This video features the use of our new RYOBI 40V 12” Single Stage Wheeled Electric Snow Shovel.
It can do 12 inches width and up to 6 inches depth of snow. I use this when we do not have enough snow for our two stage snow blower. (Basically anything under 2 inches oh snow.) It works using it one handed even which is awesome for me because I walk with a cane due to several leg a foot surgeries in the past several years.
This tool works great for me as a replacement for a normal snow shovel. The wheeled version is very nice, and much better than the non wheeled version for me to use. Wish all these had wheels added.
I use with a 6ah battery with mine, which I have found out is overkill. This could easily work fine using a 4ah or 5ah battery instead, which both are cheaper and weight less. I got mine bundled with my 2 stage Ryobi snow blower, but they sell these as a tool only for around $175 US or 279 US with battery and charger. I think it’s worth it if you have a disability like me. Or have a bad back, history of heart disease or just do not want to break a sweet shoveling snow. All you do is push it forward to use. Even a teenage kid could use this. Its available from the Home Depot. Also works good for stairs or other places a larger snow blower can not go such as deck or patio.
