well done!! super informative and no-nonsense. suggestion: allow us to hear it while operating :)
That was the best honest review I have seen. Good job. I have a lot of DeWalt tools in my woodshop but I don't think I'll be adding this snowblower to them. I've been using the Toro with the rubber blades and it picks up the snow and cleans the concrete perfectly. Thanks so much again for this honest review.
I was so glad to hear you were from the "Canadian Prairies." You have the same kind of snow I've got in Montana. AND, in general, we get more powdery snows with a few exceptions. But, I called this a stay on top of it snow blower. I have a two stage gas Cub Cadet, old school without the power steering. It is great but way too much for the 15 plus three to six inchers we get each year. So, I understand your point of view and am in complete agreement with your assessment of who this is for...
I went to West Yellowstone here a year ago and the motel (with shoulder high snow) did their walkways and patio like areas with a Kobalt single stage battery powered unit. They were out every day at least once and most days we got three to five inches. It worked great and they let me try it and I loved it, but then again, it cost five hundred bucks with two batteries and a charger. AND I don't want to start a new battery platform. I already have FlexVolt tools and the big batts so at 600 for the tool only, I'm starting to pay attention.
If I get one of our foot or more snowstorms that are like two or three times a year, I get the Cub Cadet out. But I'd love to just pop a battery into something like this and be done in 15 minutes or so with three to five inches for my thousand square feet of driveway and back deck and walk ways. Great review...
I'd like to see a broom blower in flexvolt.
I use the ryobi broom blower that attaches to the Dewalt flexvolt weed trimmer it works great
Very helpful review. Thank you!!
It's designed for people that ALREADY have the big flexvolt batteries...
Great video, Tim.
I purchased one, set it up and turned it on. The fault indicator light would not turn off. The manual said to take the batteries out and back in and if that doesn't work it take to a service provider. It did not help so I returned mine. Just curious if you noticed any issues?
you lost me at 3-4" depth, this would not survive my area for a day.
It can do more than 3-4” of snow easily. And at the end of the day this is a single stage. Lol
😎⚒️😎⚒️😎, I'm jealous Tim😂🤣😂
lost sound half way through
Egos isn’t metal I’m sure some but not majority
How does a company make great hand powered tools but crappy outdoor tools? They didn’t even put much thought into this thing and it’s ugly as hell. Go with Ego or Greenworks IMO.
Short answer: No, absolutely not!
Anything Dewalt makes is EXTREMELY overpriced compared to its competition. Ryobi for example makes amazing quality tools for less than half the price of Dewalt.
