Sweet Potato Coconut Kuih /Kueh/Asian Dessert | 紫薯椰丝糕(纯素)

- High fiber and nutrient-rich, slightly sweet with coconut milk flavor, purple sweet potato coconut kuih, an Asian dessert vegan recipe, super easy recipe without fail. No oven, steamed kuih / kueh recipe. Perfect for breakfast or dim sum for whole family.
Ingredients 材料:
300 g peeled sweet potatoes 去皮紫薯
80 g caster sugar 细沙糖
1/4 tsp salt 盐
250 ml coconut milk 椰浆
20 g rice flour 粘米粉/大米粉
150 g tapioca starch 木薯粉
Steam over medium heat for 40 minutes
以中火蒸40分钟
60 g fresh grated coconut 鲜椰丝
1/4 tsp salt 盐
Steam over medium heat for 10 minutes
以中火蒸10分钟

Hi Jinnat Ara Begum, not recommend replacing tapioca starch with corn starch. It might not acquire the desired chewy texture.

After cutting, she was separating the piece,it was hard. Shld it be like tat. Thought it shld be little soft,wobbly.
