How would transformable mobile suits make sense in any Gundam timeline? I mean, doesn't the transformation mechanisms put strain on their frames? They actually do address some things regarding transformable mobile suits/mobile armors in Zeta and ZZ Gundam (some in the series and some in extra material). One of the issues is simply the complexity of transformation systems - more complex means more cost - which part of the reason why transformable mobile suits/mobile armors become increasingly rare after ZZ (the other simply being that better, and cheaper, technology for regular, non-transformable mobile suits enables them to better keep up with, and fight, transformable mobile suits/mobile armors, so transformations become more pointless). Another issue connected to that is the more complex a transformation, like the ZZ Gundam itself, the weaker the overall frame is because of the amount of space needed for all the parts to be able to shift and move around. So as powerful and fast as the ZZ Gundam was, one good shot to the wrong part of the body could potentially knock it out of the fight (as Beecha Oleg found out the hard way), which is why the ZZ Gundam was given a Full Armor modification near the end of the First Neo Zeon War (though only used once) to help compensate for the frame weakness.
Moveable Frame is a design principle in which more of the components (sensors, motors, etc.) are folded into the inner frame of the unit instead of presumably being functionally mounted to the frame or armor. I still have a hard time when the EFSF actually started using the Early type GM in the war. Gundam 8th MS team shows that they were already using GMs in combat around the time Garma was killed. So, I imagine around August is when the EF started messing with the early-type GMs.
It appears to be so but I think it could have been earlier since the Feds did get some of the Rx-78-2 data at Luna II and began making prototypes then.
@@daitoray9876 That's a good point. Luna II would have used the data of the fighting from Side 7 to Luna II. Taking in consideration that Amuro faced Char during that period, so that data would be quite valuable for the time.

I mean including all model numbers, and even those with Gundam faces but questionable Gundamness (aside from GMs with Gundam heads). Like the very limited Efreet that pops out a new variant every now and then.
In Origins; there was a RX-78-1 that was never painted in RX-78-2 colors, engaged with Zakus, and then heavily damaged as it got sucked out of the colony. Not to mention it had a visor over its eyes.
I love this channel. Easily the best place I've found for Gundam lore and news, plus gunpla content to boot. There's lots of good gundam channels, but K197 just has such a great combination of content + a good sense of humor + his sources are well cited.
I thought it was common knowledge that there was three of each in Side 7 in various states of assembly? I know the Prototype Gundam was sent to Side 7 for more development, but I thought it was brought back to Jaburo were it was supposedly destroyed, if you consider that Arcade Lightshooter game official. Alot of this runs contrary to what I've researched. Very confusing.
The fact that there are half a dozen continuities, re-hashing of stories (such as the Gundam color scheme) to fit real world things that happened, and other stuff, makes creating an actual canon for the U.C. nigh impossible
Yeah Zeon would have lost even more badly than they did in the original series, we probably wouldn't have even gotten later Gundam series; much less seen Zeon.
Another interesting theory I had to go with this, is since each leg of the White Base seems to have 3 pads apiece and Guntanks just sit on treads. 3 pads for Gundams, 3 pads for Guncannons, and the Guntanks stored behind and rolled into launch position.
@@gundam5281 He never said there was three launching decks. he said that each arm(launching deck/hanger) had 3 pads( storage racks) that could fit all 3 Gundams and 3 Guncannons easily while the 3 Guntanks would just be stored behind them tied down since they dont exactly need standard MS storage.
kind of, they originally wanted it all white but the people funding the anime demanded something more marketable for toys. so they were forced to change it to the primary colours that were also used by the older super robot shows
I think the Gundam Wiki should update and more information regarding the Operation V units by specifying all these interesting elements of this mobile suit project.
Kakarot197: "I'll be getting into the GM development history, but first we have to talk about PARALLEL UNIVERSES." Me: "Like, the Mario speedrunning stuff, or Seed, and Wing, and-" Kakarot197: "YES." Me: "...Crap."
The Earth Federation really put to many units in the neutral Side 7, but considering the sheer incompetence of the Federation it wouldn’t surprise me that they put so many suits in the Side 7.
I guess all nine units could have been loaded onto White Base, though as Kakarot197 said in the video, three of the V units that were still in parts mode would have to loaded and squished at the back of the two hanger areas of the ship, since the proper loading carriers to accommodate such units only accounted for six in total. I'm still amazed how he managed to piece together the number of units, specifically the RX-78 series together that was fazed in cloudy mystery, to the point not even the Gundam Wiki Fandom was able to specify the details regarding it.
I’d love to see a Development History of the Rx-79. The biggest question I have is this: how did the federation -in a single year-go from barely producing a handful guncannon/tanks/prototype gundams, to mass producing (not to mention shipping) gundams to various theatres on Earth? (Looking at 08th MS team)
They had MS R&D before the OYW, but got push aside due to the threat of MS not taken seriously and a large amount of money invested in the Space fleet and Jaburo construction. It took the witness accounts of General Revil to persuade fed leaders to invest in MS development. The Feds establish air supremacy and used guerrilla tactics to sneak MS into Zeon territory for missions. The V project prototypes were a handful due to development cost. The RX-79 and ground GM were stop gap machines built using lower quality spare V project parts . After the capture of Odessa is when the Feds got the momentum, valuable production resources, and captured Zeon technology.
@@tomhuynh3867 There's also the fact that, despite their earlier territory losses in the One Year War, the Federation also still had much greater resources and production capabilities than Zeon did and so even though they started behind Zeon, it wasn't too hard to catch up. Basically, another WWII parallel with the Allies vs. Axis where the Allies won more through greater materiel and production.
@@tomhuynh3867 The federation were also able to bulk their numbers thanks to the gm being easier and cheaper to produce than the gundam and guncannon, using a mixed composite armor with Luna titanium only the vital areas. EFSF also had a larger quantity of resources and production facilities compared to zeon during the war. Just put all the facilities to maximum output
They had only 3 core fighters. The peototypes were intended for studies, development, and training and there were to be transferred on Luna 2 were they would get from Von Braun the remaining fighters. Most of the cargo were incomplete suits to be studied and teach people basic logistic and maintenance. The first v-group (3 couple of mobil suit) was intended to be assembled on the return on Earth with this new personel and trained pilots from Jaburo using the test pilot (the one who dies in hangar in ep1 and who present itself to Amuro in origin when they get im snooping aroynd) as cag
You should do a video series on what would have happened if site 7 was never attacked and the white base was able to get its full compliment to jaburo. Makes me wonder how different the war would have been.
I think the G3 was called an RX-78-3 because it was the third unit in the line. The RX-78-4 and RX-78-5 come to mind as to why I think that, and the Guntank's designation of RX-75-4 makes sense if you think of the one aboard the White Base as the 4th unit, since you said that units 2, 3, and 4 were present. The only one Im less sure of is the Guncannon, but one is destroyed at Side 7, which could be the RX-77-1.
Man, I always found that weird when I first saw the G-3 in a game. (I think it was SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online.) Because as much as just a cursory search reveals that the G-3 spec largely revolves around the magnetic coating, the fact that there was even a Unit 3 that became "the G-3" (The RX-78-3 spec'd Unit 3 with the gray/blue scheme, not Amuro's upgraded Gundam) always weirded me out. This explanation kinda helps, but I can't believe after all these years the answer is still split between conflicting accounts xD Eh, whatever, I used that G-3 and painted it red to pretend it's the Char's Gundam in some alternate UC timelines in other games.
Thank you Kakarot for taking the time to craft and structure this video. Although the main aspects of Operation V is stated on the Gundam Wiki Fandom, a lot of these important details regarding the variants, quantities and development is still shrouded in deep mystery, with Gunpla manuals being the last resort for seeking out such information. Again, Thank You.
Here's a interesting question how many events would change if Char had managed to secure Side 7 and White Base. For example what if his two scouts would have reported back and Char called in reinforcements?
Here's the a brief complication of RX78 Mobile Suit lineup, which some units was piloted by Amuro Ray Also another MS made with Amuro's newtype abilities & enhanced mobility in mind: Gundam Alex
I've read a manga once: during the early stage of the Zakus infiltration, they met & fought a unit that quite possibly the RX-78-1. BUT, here are the weird things: - they found a destroyed remnants that looks similar to a Guntank w/ it's cannon parts like being sliced (they didn't know that Gundam was equiped w/ beam saber at that time) - instead of 2 eyes, the Gundam in question uses sunglasses-like visor - the color scheme of it was full yellow w/ several boxed square painted on the body (probably for similar effect/usage as the markings on crash test dummies) - from the get go, it carry a shoulder cannon attached to it's backpack During the fight the (supposed) Gundam managed to destroyed one of the Zakus w/ beam saber (there were 3 of them), but it exploded (maybe the saber hit the reactor) & since the battle happened inside the outer skin of the colony, the explosion breach the wall & the Gundam got sucked out to space. The remaining Zakus then proceeded to assault w/ intention of search & destroy into the interior of the colony
I think the best way to explain the RX-78 unit development would be some kinda flow chart, cause listing out like that is totally confusing and it's no wonder that no one has a solid grasp of the development without far too much studying, hopefully the eventual video will help western fans finally get it sorted
A suggestion to how to format the GM Development History, 1 video to focus on the "technological" advancements or general improvements to the GM (Kai, Powered, 2), 1 for the Environmental/Specialized Roles (Cold District, Aqua, Light Armor), and 1 for the more...unique or experimental ones (Dominance, Juggler, Custom) For a question, this is more of a theory than of question. Looking back at the previous Anti-Newtype combat systems the Federation made like EXAM and HADES, it actually struck me as odd that the Federation didn't think of creating a specialized Taskforce or Unit that deals with combatting Newtypes. While it can be argued that Newtypes were a rarity during the OYW and even later, its kinda weird that even during the Gryps War not even like the Titans would have like a countermeasure for their own Cyber-Newtypes other than just, mental training. So in theory, how would the Federation deal with a situation where Newtypes were more of occurrence and what would be some ways their own forces would deal with one?
So here is a question though I don't remember whether someone else already asked it, something similar or not. We've got the Proto Gundam, Amuro's Gundam, the G-3, G04 & G05, Mudrock and the 7th Gundam each with varying design concepts/focus (specifically with the second lot). Given that what do you believe the "mysterious"/lost 8th gundam would be like or how would you design it. This while ignoring things related to the passing of time like the Gundam Development Project, MK II or that the 7th Gundam wasn't finished until after the war, but not ignoring things like the Pixy and Alex or the dropped Gunner Gundam.
So basically they kinda overhaul unit 1 to make it better but it ended as new type we know as unit 2, then later unit 2 got more overhaul from the last time, but it a new unit 2 based on overhaul before and getting severals new part (inside part, not the outer part), making it drop into own category unit 3. But the Original unit 2 still there when Amuro used until... certain times the original unit 2 are replaced with unit 3 specs.
The White Base during Operation Star One started with five units. One Gundam, one Guncannon, one Guntank (Or second Guncannon) and two G Fighters/Core Boosters. But also, they had room for a Gunperry, so I'd think it was possible for extra room on the ship easily for nine units, especially if they utilized the Gunperry for storage.
Do you think the Midnight Fenrir Corp or Code Fairy could have taken down White Base if they were assigned instead of Char or Ramba Ral? M'quve didn't coordinate with any other forced and the Black Tri-Stars lost due to Miss Matilda's kamikaze attack.
The PS2 Zeonic front game have the Midnight Fenrir do recon mission on the White base for data gathering. The team was around half its total member before the battle Odessa and the only one equipped with slightly better suits at that time was LT. Roher with a Gouf prototype that used zaku weapons. White base crew on that dread mission has literal plot armor on top of superior fire power that it becomes a deadly game of hide and go seek. It be interesting if the Fenrir were fully manned and had the best support. Noisy Fairy I can see an ugly struggle with possibly the only one surviving is Alma due to her new type abilities. Mia is a smart supporter, but not the best fighter especially if Amuro going in for the kill. Helena being a veteran would fair better against Guncannon and Guntank. Basically Alma is the skill, Mia is the brains, and Helena is the steady nerves that if one of them goes down the others be finish .
@@tomhuynh3867 That's why I think the MFC and Noisy Fairy could take White Base: They're smart and use tactics. I love Char and Ramba Ral but they are pilots first, not strategists. They never coordinated with their squad mates so everyone just did their own thing. Amuro really can't handle a coordinated attack. The Black Tri-Stars used teamwork and the only reason he survived was Matilda's kamikaze attack. I think Amuro would fall for Mia's decoy strategy and Lt. Schmitzer's plots would put Bright to shame.
A question that you may have answered before but is it ever explained how weapons like the Zaku's heat hawk or Gouf's heat sword/saber could take a hit from a beam saber without instantly being cut in half? Did they have anti-beam coating in the OYW?
How many Gundams in alternative universes could be considered parallel to the RX-78-2? Potentially as well, what AU Gundams are parallel to other main mobile suits?
Probably a bit late at this point, but would be fun to see you do a mecha break down of the Aestivalis and the Nadesico, from the series Martian Successor Nadesico.
I agree that the Rx-78-1 was scrapped but I think that it was possible that the Rx-78-1 was not destroyed and just became disassembled parts(Hence why it could have appeared to be heavily damaged. In addition, the Zaku pilots assumed that the Rx-78-2 was just a ton of parts that were not completed which means that they probably did come across a disassembled version of the Rx-78 Gundams). On another note, the Origin Manga simplifies the Gundam issue by destroying Unit 1 on Side 7 and removing Unit 3 entirely from the manga.
In many gundam games, g1 is present so are un-numbered RX-78s. Its hard to say which is canon and which isn't. Man this series is just as a confusing as real life machine history.
and then~~~ theres the anime tv show vs the movie version(where theres no guntank and no gunpeli/g-armor) but there are more guncannons and more booster types. G-3 was supposed to be the Magnetic coating gundam in the novels.
Question: will do a video covering the Origins timeline like the mobile suits (Bugu, Waff, Guntank early type, Guncannon first type which later on became the Guncannon mobility/firepower test type etc) the events like the dawn rebellion as well as the difference between the mainline UC and the Origin UC? Also had you read the Origin manga and if so do you like it and are you gonna recommend it to people who are new to the Gundam Universe?
Here's a good question for a next episode. What happened to Nu Gundam after Char's Counterattack. It's not stated what happened to the Nu Gundam is it destroyed, recovered by Anaheim Electronics then restore it or dismantled and harvest the Psychoframe, or did it go to a higher plane of existence just like most theory I've found
The best assumption is that the Nu blew up when it's psycho-frame overloaded to create the psycho field. The remains likely burned up in the atmosphere.
Your previous video on different generations of mobile suits was quite interesting and I was hoping you would follow up on that with different generations of mobile armors during the Universal Century timeline.
Several of the spare Gs could've been kept for use as spare parts. I'm pretty sure there's been cases of unit 1 being piloted while unit 2 is kept as replacement parts for unit 1.
Given how the GM was developed from the RX-78-2 data, you do kind of need to cover that for the development video. Either way I am always looking forward to more development history videos.
My question is why didn’t orb ever develop any amphibious mobile suits we know when they where working on the astray frames they developed schematics for amphibious equipment for said frames, and we know as payment for a job Gai was given by orb a set of that equipment, we know orb never lost the data and orb is a island nation so why didn’t orb ever develop or produce in any quantity an amphibious machine or an amphibious variant of an existing machine like the mass production astray or even the transformable murasame?
Here's a question that's been personally bugging me: How exactly do Mobile Suits fit into the Federation's and Zeon's respective combat doctrines, be it in ground, air, or space combat?
For Zeon, MS warfare was the whole center of the doctrine. Given that Minovsky particles (the byproduct of the fusion reactor everyone uses) block a majority of electronics, line of sight combat was what they were made for. By extension, most ships for Zeon were just MS carriers first, battleships second. The Federation on the other hand was really playing catch up as they were more into the 'big gun' idea, and had no idea at the time what Minovsky particles could do in the full extent. With most weapons from fighters and battleships rendered ineffective, it turned into a fight fire with fire situation. Before, they looked at MS as pretty much a joke and a waste of money. The battle of Loum is what got them to start taking MS seriously.
Question: How large was the Delaz Fleet? Gato only destroyed 1/3 of the fleet at Solomon during Operation Stardust. Compared with the Cima fleet, it really is hard to gauge how many ships Delaz actually had for the whole Operation (including logistical ships). I imagine roughly 20 Musai Late versions with Delaz's battleship. Cima must have had 5-6 Musai's with one being destroyed just before the battle and her Zanzibar class ship. If you have any insight into this or know of more materials on the operation, I would love to see you do a video on this. Thanks and keep up the great work.
I thought parts of the damaged units were scavenged, and the super napalm was used to destroy what they couldn't take with them, so I'm with you that the RX-78-2 Unit 1 (or parts of it) were taken by the white base for spares. Also, have you ever had to do any improvisation when building gunpla, and if so, what is your favorite improv? Mine was using part of a runner to replace a damaged handle from an HGBC Hyper Gunpla Battle Weapons pack that snapped during assembly thanks to slipping by QA (bought two packs so I could have two of the claw booster shields, and one was much sturdier than the other on almost every part).
I am always wondering, what if the first unit that was destroyed is the Gundam and Amuro piloted Guntank or Guncannon instead, basing on the fire power or technology of the ms will the Feds get the advantage during OYW?
from what i know there was 6 mabe 7 of the original rx-78 line. units 1 - 3 were the same as stated by kakarot197 in this video. the 4th and 5th were sent to the Thoroughbred. the mudrock aka unit 6 had cannons on its backpack similar to the guncannon. unit 7 was a MSV so i dont it was cannon to the time line. the rx-78- 7 it was spoused to be made into a heavy assault unit .
Do you know anything about the Ghoul Team seen in Gundam Side Stories? The Gundam wiki only lists the Gouf units they used and not the Dom, and doesn't have any actual information on them regardless. Not to mention if I remember correctly from watching Gundam Side Stories footage the game isn't translated.
How many colonies are there in the UC? Sometimes it seems like each side has a few. Other times there seems to be enough colonies for the Titans to use one as target practice, and the Moon Moon colony to be isolated.
Moon moon was one first colony built as a facility to build other colonies. It should have been discarded because it was not intended for long run. But people clinged to it. The story of moon moon is revealed more in Moon gundam.

Very confusing.
there is 3 guntanks in side 7 in gundam g generation overworld, but no guncannons were shown there
The fact that there are half a dozen continuities, re-hashing of stories (such as the Gundam color scheme) to fit real world things that happened, and other stuff, makes creating an actual canon for the U.C. nigh impossible
One can only imagine what would've happend if all these units were successfully loaded onto White Base and transported to Jaburo...
Yeah Zeon would have lost even more badly than they did in the original series, we probably wouldn't have even gotten later Gundam series; much less seen Zeon.
Looking forward to your GM dev history! Even if there is some missing info, your theories also seem to fill in the gaps nicely.
Enough to violate the neutriality of Side 7. That's how many!
Another interesting theory I had to go with this, is since each leg of the White Base seems to have 3 pads apiece and Guntanks just sit on treads. 3 pads for Gundams, 3 pads for Guncannons, and the Guntanks stored behind and rolled into launch position.
Where was the third pad. The white Base had to laucnhing decks that were identical to each other in design. So where would the third one fit in?
@@gundam5281 He never said there was three launching decks. he said that each arm(launching deck/hanger) had 3 pads( storage racks) that could fit all 3 Gundams and 3 Guncannons easily while the 3 Guntanks would just be stored behind them tied down since they dont exactly need standard MS storage.
@@emperorchampion3520 Exactly
also from what I heard from Japanese reviewers the RX-78-1's color scheme is a homage to the super robot manga/anime Mazinger Z created by Go Nagai.
kind of, they originally wanted it all white but the people funding the anime demanded something more marketable for toys. so they were forced to change it to the primary colours that were also used by the older super robot shows
@@unitedstatesofamericareal You mean all gray or the rx-78-3 colors.
I think the Gundam Wiki should update and more information regarding the Operation V units by specifying all these interesting elements of this mobile suit project.
Me seeing the title: I've been curious about this after reading the Origin version of events
Me watching the video: OMG a Dougram kit!
Kakarot197: "I'll be getting into the GM development history, but first we have to talk about PARALLEL UNIVERSES."
Me: "Like, the Mario speedrunning stuff, or Seed, and Wing, and-"
Kakarot197: "YES."
Me: "...Crap."
I'm still amazed how he managed to piece together the number of units, specifically the RX-78 series together that was fazed in cloudy mystery, to the point not even the Gundam Wiki Fandom was able to specify the details regarding it.
there are so many gm variations and upgrades that video could easily be a multi part dev history
One thing is it was a decoy for the Federation. No reason to stock a ship that could be blown to pieces at any time.
@@tomhuynh3867
There's also the fact that, despite their earlier territory losses in the One Year War, the Federation also still had much greater resources and production capabilities than Zeon did and so even though they started behind Zeon, it wasn't too hard to catch up.
Hello kakarot197. Gelgoog development history maybe?
I kinda wanna see an AU with 1 Gundam, 3 Guncannons and 2 Guntanks now.
This never cross my mind while questioning but its nice someone did because its a great question
This explanation kinda helps, but I can't believe after all these years the answer is still split between conflicting accounts xD
Eh, whatever, I used that G-3 and painted it red to pretend it's the Char's Gundam in some alternate UC timelines in other games.
Here's the a brief complication of RX78 Mobile Suit lineup, which some units was piloted by Amuro Ray
Also another MS made with Amuro's newtype abilities & enhanced mobility in mind: Gundam Alex
I've read a manga once: during the early stage of the Zakus infiltration, they met & fought a unit that quite possibly the RX-78-1. BUT, here are the weird things:
- they found a destroyed remnants that looks similar to a Guntank w/ it's cannon parts like being sliced (they didn't know that Gundam was equiped w/ beam saber at that time)
- instead of 2 eyes, the Gundam in question uses sunglasses-like visor
- the color scheme of it was full yellow w/ several boxed square painted on the body (probably for similar effect/usage as the markings on crash test dummies)
- from the get go, it carry a shoulder cannon attached to it's backpack
During the fight the (supposed) Gundam managed to destroyed one of the Zakus w/ beam saber (there were 3 of them), but it exploded (maybe the saber hit the reactor) & since the battle happened inside the outer skin of the colony, the explosion breach the wall & the Gundam got sucked out to space. The remaining Zakus then proceeded to assault w/ intention of search & destroy into the interior of the colony
Looks like that was from the beginning of The Origin.

Please
I do wish for an overview video on the non ms vehicles of the oyw so I can finally point to people and say "zeon cant aircraft"
Hey Kakarot the opening for Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS Urdr-Hunt dropped A couple days ago and it looks awesome
When you make the GM development history video, are you going to make "he's dead jim" joke in it?
I think the best way to explain the RX-78 unit development would be some kinda flow chart, cause listing out like that is totally confusing and it's no wonder that no one has a solid grasp of the development without far too much studying, hopefully the eventual video will help western fans finally get it sorted
A suggestion to how to format the GM Development History, 1 video to focus on the "technological" advancements or general improvements to the GM (Kai, Powered, 2), 1 for the Environmental/Specialized Roles (Cold District, Aqua, Light Armor), and 1 for the more...unique or experimental ones (Dominance, Juggler, Custom)
For a question, this is more of a theory than of question.
Just noticed that the White Base looks like a flying robot dog.
So basically they kinda overhaul
unit 1 to make it better but it ended as new type we know as unit 2, then later unit 2 got more overhaul from the last time, but it a new unit 2 based on overhaul before and getting severals new part (inside part, not the outer part), making it drop into own category unit 3.
But the Original unit 2 still there when Amuro used until... certain times the original unit 2 are replaced with unit 3 specs.
maybe the "other parts that could be used for 3 gundams" amuro mentioned were whe ones that would eventually become the G-3/G04/G05
Can’t wait for the development history on rx-78!
In the anime or movie they say one Gundam unit is operation and the second they gonna use to spare parts.
I arrived 11 mins early. And thank you for this awesome video whenever you do get to making the GM development history video I look forward to it
A question that you may have answered before but is it ever explained how weapons like the Zaku's heat hawk or Gouf's heat sword/saber could take a hit from a beam saber without instantly being cut in half? Did they have anti-beam coating in the OYW?
How many Gundams in alternative universes could be considered parallel to the RX-78-2? Potentially as well, what AU Gundams are parallel to other main mobile suits?
It's almost like they made it up after the fact, lol.
What's next? Amuro gets killed by unnamed Rick Dom pilot 15?
@Neo Alteisen Only problem: The FA-78-1 was never built in the end.
In many gundam games, g1 is present so are un-numbered RX-78s. Its hard to say which is canon and which isn't. Man this series is just as a confusing as real life machine history.
drinking game: every time you hear RX-78 UNIT 2 you take a hit!
and then~~~ theres the anime tv show vs the movie version(where theres no guntank and no gunpeli/g-armor) but there are more guncannons and more booster types.
Q: Does the RX-78-1 North American rollout, make sense in development history?
In the origin manga book 1 the rx-78-1 confronts the zaku recon team and goes down I’m pretty sure so check that out
and then now there is a Tomboy Main Character a.k.a. The Witch from Mercury
If only we could ask the writers them selves .
Fun Fact:Zethyronix Beat you to the dagger
My question is why didn’t orb ever develop any amphibious mobile suits we know when they where working on the astray frames they developed schematics for amphibious equipment for said frames, and we know as payment for a job Gai was given by orb a set of that equipment, we know orb never lost the data and orb is a island nation so why didn’t orb ever develop or produce in any quantity an amphibious machine or an amphibious variant of an existing machine like the mass production astray or even the transformable murasame?
You think when 0083 came out the 3 GPO’s in the anime represented the 3 original Gundam’s from the One Year War?
could you do a zaku warrior development history down the line?
I assume the full armor rx-78-2 we see in thunderbolt is simply just a new one the feds made
Here's a question that's been personally bugging me: How exactly do Mobile Suits fit into the Federation's and Zeon's respective combat doctrines, be it in ground, air, or space combat?
"Enough for another manga."
from what i know there was 6 mabe 7 of the original rx-78 line. units 1 - 3 were the same as stated by kakarot197 in this video. the 4th and 5th were sent to the Thoroughbred. the mudrock aka unit 6 had cannons on its backpack similar to the guncannon. unit 7 was a MSV so i dont it was cannon to the time line. the rx-78- 7 it was spoused to be made into a heavy assault unit .
my question : how long it took to build a single space colony?
Could you do a video about the other rx-78 units such as g4, g5, mudrock and the 7th gundam?
I have a question: How many Mass Production F91 produced out there ?
What franchises do you like that aren't specifically Gundam?
Interesting video
Where do the MSV variations come in though?
I have understanded so clearly the part of the Rx-78 but still dont get how the cops knew that internal affairs were setting them up.
The story of moon moon is revealed more in Moon gundam.
wasn't there a novel where the Rx 78-2 was destroyed at the New Texas colony and Amuro used the Rx 78-3 after that?
Sounds like you're referring to Mobile Suit Gundam: Awakening, Escalation, Confrontation.
Tomino admitted he's not entirely happy with the ending in that novel, as he would have let Amuro live had he known at the time that Zeta Gundam would be made.
Ow... my head hurts.
1 I always love the Guncannon cause it's awesome 😎👍.
2 Did you know in Mobile Suit Gundam Origin version the prototype Gundam was gold color instead of black.
I thought Unit 1 eventually became one of the full armor gundams?
I thought the one used for spares for the RX-78-2 was the Unit 3?
FA78 please…. And the Casval RX78
I would be interested in the development of the movable frame that the titans developed
I've always been of the opinion that Gundam Unit 1 was used for parts after the attack on Side 7.
How would the Earth Federation Operation Star One changed if they built the Pegasus class (similar to the Gray Phantom) in larger numbers?
i have a question what would have happened if amuro ray had piloted zeta gundam and zz gundam and fought against the titans and neo zeon and if he would have changed anything in the battle
