    Great little truck. Got one to tinker around with in front of my house when I get home from work. The down flaw is the maintenance. That's absolutely ridiculous what you have to do to maintenance the diffs. I thought my Arma 3s and 4s trucks were a pain to maintenance the diffs. This truck is far worse by a longshot. I will just wait till a diff goes bad before I rip it apart completely to do diff work on it.

    Hi there hope all is well, just got one of these so very helpful video.
    Just broke one of front drive shafts crashing into a curb testing out new 3s battery in it (our roads very narrow over here in England, like quarter size ot what you driving yours on,my excuse anyway)
    Trying to work out where the little rubber washer goes when remove front arms at bottom to ge5 to drive shaft, thought I'd take other side of to see,but off course fell out as dismantling it before seen where goes.
    Thanks for video

      @customtoyrevolution yeah should help if ever need get to certain parts, but unfortunately one of the few pieces you didn't strip was the piece I was hoping you would but you didn't ha ha.
      Watched another of your videos mentioning size of the front drive shafts to wheels and must be doing something seriously wrong to break one as so big.
      Crashing head on into curb and probably fact close to freezing wouldn't of helped ha ha,mad thing is,knew it would happen so knew shouldn't drive outside the house on road, but thought quick minute to check new 3s batteries won't harm but turned into 15 or so minutes as get carried away far to easily.
      And you mentioning the spare fan if using 3s so just put that on so thanks again,
      Take care and have fun

  • @shadyhazza

    the larger wheels will make the final gear longer, i.e. the car will go faster
    55mm to 63mm is 14% larger
    its like changing your pinion from 22 to ~25 tooth
    perhaps care should be taken running on 3s, the controller does have a 70% power switch. or if someone melts their gear, report back here :D

    • @customtoyrevolution
      @customtoyrevolution  Год назад +1

      CA /Superglue works fine. Be sure to clean the wheel with alcohol or acetone. Some would even clean the bead of the tires. It won't affect drifting as long as you use hard plastic tires, but then again, this car is not designed for drifting.

    • @customtoyrevolution

      I personally wouldn't fit a bigger tires than 65mm. You will need to trim more from the body and also need to account for tire ballooning. Yes, the tires come with aluminum rim is 70mm and too big. I also need to lower the car to reduce traction roll, video releasing tonight
