Thank you, thank you, thank you for being the _only_ person to say that the steering links are adjustable on these. Mine came with wild toe-out on the left wheel and I took it apart and they felt like they were glued or one piece and I didn't wanna chance breaking it and having to wait for a replacement part, and then you have this super candid "oh by the way" comment in here and now my wheels don't look like Steve Buscemi's eyes in Mr Deeds.

you're video on the MJX h14bm is what made me pull the trigger, and buy it. it is my first hobby grade rc, and i have been ripping it constantly for a couple months now, wrecked it more times than i can count. and yet it still keeps going strong. i love the little beast, just ordered my 9 year old the h16dr, fingers crossed it will have similar quality.

question, can you make a midnight video explanation about the G3 Gyro of mjx 14301? we have a lot of problems with it, seems like there are 3 positions. higher the percentage the slower the 14301 responds. is it possible to fix the ends of the wheels in the gyro? Can't find instruction manual anywhere. maybe you can make a short explanation video? thank you! keep it up! nice channel!!

As many of us who grew up in the 70s and 80s are now parents, we are rediscovering the joy of RC cars through our children. This hobby is making a comeback and gaining popularity once again. I can still recall the excitement of receiving my first hobby RC car on Christmas of '92, an RC10T which I later transformed into a GT using a kit two years later. I often wish I still had it! Another funny ass episode of ''Midnight Club'' Aaron that MJX Hyper Go 14301 is tough as nails even with the stock 2s bashing you put it through a few videos ago and was crazy fast on 3s but with that upgraded Castle Creations motor and Mamba X ESC with 4s and 6s you might as well added wings to it to turn in to a R/C Jet just WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But thankfully you have another MJX Hyper Go/H14MK on the side you could repair just to keep on the side for your regular street bashing around and such? 👍👍👍👍 BTW will you be doing any newer videos with your R/C boats while the summer season is still here Aaron?

Using a DumboRc tx/rx. I put it in the description below. To get 35-40 all you need to do is go to a 3s battery. That's the easiest way to speed it up 👍

I didn't add a lot really aside from the electronics. I bought a 550 size motor mount and added a 3500kv 6s Castle system. Some Contact foam wheels but other than that, it's stock 😎

Interesting to see the 14301 has the new Y diff and pinions.
Wow 84 out of it and all the fun along the way. Maybe if I get a second one I might consider this reaching speeds looks like a blast.
It was pretty nutty how it didn't disintegrate after so many major crashes. I think with a more powerful ESC and tuning of the steering, I could have gone faster. It was the last crash, and after editing the video did I realize what mistake I was making 😅

I use them when I need the power and reliability. It's really fast too. Mostly larger speed run builds, but I use them in crawlers too like my Ryft

If I have this truck stock form and just want the biggest and best 3s battery to work without modification which one do you recommend!?
I'd have to look at the battery tray size. I modded this one but I wouldn't recommend it for regular bashing. A 2200mah to 3300mah should fit, but check the specs before buying to make sure the size works. Also the higher the C rating the better, try to for a minimum 70C. Zeee make pretty good batteries that are cheap and easy to get that fit quite well 👍
@@disciplinerc ok thanks… in stock form I don’t think there is any benefit going higher than 35C bc the stock motor can’t draw power any faster than that rating so any higher C above that is just sort of “wasted” or not “used”? At least that’s what I read somewhere… I’ll have a look around and see what I can find

Hey thanks dude!! Yeah I've watched this video again and again trying to figure out the issues. The road played a big parts, alot of small stones too. Since the clearance was so little, even a small rock sent it airborne
Hahaha, fantastic job!.. Just ordered a Surpass Supersonic 390 4550kv for mine. With a 30t pinion, it should be good for 70mph on 3S & 120amp ESC.
Yeah that's a good motor. I went big and chunky but didn't need too...but I guess that's the point really 😂
Did you do the supass motor and esc upgrade?
I sure did... Also fitted a 32dp 36T spur and 19T pinion and wiped out at 53mph after hitting a stone, then dead stop into the curb. Broke a shock and bumper mounts, as well as wrecking the bodyshell 😅
Waiting for the parts to arrive so I can go again. I have a 32T spur and 25T pinion to try out, which should see it to 80+mph if I don't break it again 🤣
@@paulblythe5899 iv for to ask what's 32dp spur, if been looking around and thought gear options was limited spur wise, how come you went with the 120a esc was then to keep temps down as the combos iv come across with the supersonic 390 come with a 80a esc, I'm assuming when using the 390 you dont have to chop up and modify the chassis
@@dualtrondreamteam6811 - 32 DP has a nearly identical tooth pitch to mod 0.8... Because of the slotted spur gear mount on the MJX, I design and 3D print my own. I'm using a Hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 ESC simply because it was sitting in a drift car I haven't used for a while and thought I'd put it to use 😁
The 390 fits in place without any modification to the chassis, but I also designed and machined an adjustable motor mount to replace the original fixed mount.
Amazing. I think after that, it deserve to be rebuilt to full 6s running spec and put on display.

I'm trying numbers on my jetwood branded 14210, have 4s esc & 4s lipos 120c, on my stock 2850 4400kv 14t pinion 56mph, and timing set to zero, I want more without cutting and gutting truck, would 2860 can motor be about same as 3650 can motor, and what kv u suggest? 2860 or 3650? I'm wanting to run 4s mostly 3s at times, and between 14t-18t pinion on a 2860 can, or 14t-16t pinion on a 3650 can, any help be greatly appreciated
You can only fit a 2800 series motor as it sits stock, if you go to a 3600 you will need to do alot of hacking and slashing. The bigger motor will give you more torque power, but the truck is smaller and not that heavy. A 2860 is the ideal size for this truck. 4400kv is a good start on 4s for sure. Most cheaper motors that size max out at about 60000rpm, Surpass etc. so a 4s will push it past its limits. It's okay, you just need to watch your temps and it could seize if it's itf it's too hot for too long. Pinion size will make a difference, but start small and go up. It all depends what you are looking for out of it I guess. If it's speed or general bashing, there's numbers to it all! Hope that helps 😅👍

Kemza is not the brand, it's a reseller on Amazon. Both of these are made by MJX, they made the H14MK for the Amazon marketplace. Now both are available through various sellers which show up as 'Brands'. Check my links below or order directly from the MJX site. Hope that helps 👍
Did you ever use a high performance 3s battery on any stock speed test before you fully modified it? I ask because everyone only uses stock batteries and get 42 mph...which is fast,but i am thinking a great battery pack may achieve 45 mph...just asking...i know how much more performance i get out of my planes using new bad ass batteries...thanks for sharing..
That's very possible. I have a 120/240 3s that adds about that to stock battery runs
I actually have a couple of ovonic 1300mah 3s 60c batts should fit this car perfect and possibly add some performance...thanks

It could be, what's the KV of that motor? It could be that it's too high. The higher the KV the less low end power/torque it has. It's possible too that the wiring is reversed. If it's not sensored, you can swap the motor wires around and see if that helps.

Nope, stock diffs. Just added 1m weight silicone to stiffen them up 👍
i just got this rc. Well, not exactly this one, obviously, but the normal version. i started getting speed wobble at full throttle after driving it for about 45 minutes. the first 30 minutes was fine. has anyone got any ideas what it could be??
Adjust the gain down on the gyro. It's starting to break in, so the car will get a bit looser, the gyro is compensating for that rear end kicking out. Hope that helps 👍
