Awesome! Just got this one from Amazon myself. Everything I'd seen showed it should be fun, but damn, it is so much fun. On the asphalt, hearing the tires squeal like a full size car. OH YEAH, love that! By the time I was done, the inside of the body was full of rubber dust, just the way it should be!

I got the same one a bit over a year ago and really love it. Running 3s is perfect for this truck. O keep thinking about making it faster because, well, who doesnt want more speed?! I was thinking of a Castle Micro X2 and a little hotter motor. But then the logical side kicks in and lets me lnow ot doesnt really have to go any faster since its not really built for it. We will see what happens. 40+ mph seems ro be the sweet zone for this one. Of o want to go really fast i jave the XO-1 and 8s Infraction for that :-) And I'm only trying for no more than 80 mph with the infraction. I already had the 8s parts laying around so just figured why not? If the mood strikes I could always just gear it up a bit and see where that takes me!

Just got mine 2 days ago from Amazon (I live in Montreal area). I must say that I am truly impressed with the quality of it all. The only thing I don't like is the use of Phillips head screws... that and the optional 3s battery is an extra $55.
Greetings my fellow Canuck!! Yeah hex hardware would have been tops. The battery is pretty steep. If you have a proper charger, you can get decent 3s batteries that size for about $18-25 off Amazon 👍

So How similar are these two the SG 160X series of cars from what I've seen in pictures and such online they look basically the same these just come with metal diffs the metal shocks and aluminum base plate for the car and a aluminum center support is there anything that I'm missing?
After watching a few videos, I was able to determine a few minor differences between 14301 (V1) vs M14MK (V2), however they are practically the same car: 1. MJX definitely hooked you up, the current offering from MJX's Amazon store only pairs the M14MK with two 2S 2000 mAh batteries, Content Creation has its perks 😉 2. M14MK has hard shell battery packs whereas the 14301 were just taped cells 3. M14MK comes with an extra pair of springs, the 14301 does not, besides that, accessories are practically the same 4. I watched Hype RC's video where he first ran 'em with 2S then with 3S, one noticeable difference was the 14301 was a bit harder to control with the 3S pack vs the H14MK, now this could've been attributed to driver error but I had read on another videos comment section that there may have been some minor changes to the ESC programming, tho I have nothing concrete to back this 5. ESC fan pre-installed on H14MK model 6. Current discounts as of 6/20/2023 have the M14MK from MJX's Amazon store, with CA tax and discounts included, was $177 shipped vs the 14301 coming to $169 shipped (Yes, there are other options on Amazon, but I went with the most trustworthy stores). You can save a few bucks by going through AliExpress or BangGood but will have to wait for overseas shipping. A savings of roughly $8-30 dollars + time was enough to push me towards just grabbing the M14MK from MJX's Amazon store (Can't beat 2-Day shipping). Thank you for the super charged review!
A gyro will automatically correct the front wheels when it starts to skid out. It's a steering assist to keep the car straight that you can turn up or down if need be 👍

Where the hell do you find tires for these? I burn up tires in two batteries on pavement, and the only tires available even close are 2.55 inches, which are a half inch bigger. Tires on Ali are $40, and I’m not paying that for two runs. Did I by a disposable piece of garbage over tires?
@@disciplinerc Ever hear of today rc? They have everything for mjx. I ordered a couple sets of rubber tires, $15 a set. Now I’ll have to wait and see how long it takes to get them. I think I need to find some natural terrain as well. On 3s, I lose about half the rear tires in one battery. I did get some tires from Amazon but they’re about 1/4 inch bigger. I’m going to see how those work.

No real way to lift unless you get bigger springs, but it will make the angle steep on the cvd's. You can fit 1/10 tires on it though with a bit of body trimming

So, make sure to run it with the body on.

The screws actually go between the fins on the heatsink. Mount it evenly and start the screws, they will bite into the sides of the aluminum 👍👍

Just got one myself and was wondering what that app you were using to test the speed was?
It's the SkyRC GNSS GPS app, but you need the unit to track. There's a link in the description below. Worth getting, highly recommend 👍
